Leave the doors of the van open and tie them to the van, get in van and drive it in reverse to about 20 mph then slam on the brakes on the safe should then remove itself from the van.

LOL - We are currently renovating our house and also a shop and workshop. John is tight and won't pay out for anything he 'thinks' he can do or believes I can do. Therefore our DIY exploits are numerous and endless....and usually hilarious.....

Like the time we had some slipped slates on our workshop roof. John declared that it was easy to fix but was scared of heights- but if I got on the roof he would help. His help consisted of standing at the top of the ladder with both hands on my bum 'steadying me' whilst I learnt how to pin slates with 'hands on experience'!!

The following day our neighbour asked who we got to do our roof as he had a couple of slipped slates.....

To which John replied - I'll send the missus round but you'll need to give her a hand:eek:

The roof - it was much safer for her to go up. ok i did enjoy my part in the task. But she does weigh alot less than me and it made sense.

Anything that has went wrong in my DIY adventures have not been my fault. (thats all i am saying lol)

Hhhhmmm Like the time when you nearly set fire to a Bulgarian Village whilst trying to create a patio area......I should have let the old bat hit you with that broom. It's a good job for us we had no idea what she was screaming - as I don't think it was polite:naughty:

i had the fire under controll ....You and the kids got the water and i managed to put it out.

And it was not my fault , the wind blew the fire and started to burn the dry grass near the field.

I understood what the women was saying, she was telling me not too light fires cause it could burn the village down DOH
