Fun Question - What's your favourite Mascara?

My favorite mascara of all time was Lancome Virtuose in Brown but they have discontinued now.. grrrrr!! Gave great curl, voume and length...
So now I have tried Clinique Glasssy Natural in brown which I don't like really so i'll need to keep the search on,
I want a new brown mascara for length and volume... any ideas??0 -
Sweetcheeks33 - Look to L'Oreal for mascaras similar to Lancome. Apparently they tend to be similar.
Is Virtuose the one with the curved brush? I'm not sure if that's part of the appeal for you but if so it's super easy to curve a brush yourself with *very* clean/gloved hands that you don't mind getting messy - just shape the brush with your fingers. Two thumbs fresh!:money:0 -

I don't even use my hands..lol
I just pull the brush out halfway through, and bend it against the opening of the tube by pushing the wand down at an angle.0 -
Hey I shall try that, Yeah I have been hearing rumours that l'oreal and lancome are owned by smae company
chanel /bourjous are the smae company too....
although dont know if that true or not?
I shall have a look at l'oreal this week when in town are im not really liking the clinique one.

L'ancome Hypnose is my all-time favourite but only when I'm feeling really flush,
YSL faux cils is pretty good but again only when I'm feeling rich
Max factor false lash effect is the one I use everyday and it's great
Primark 9 1/2 winks is brilliant for lengthening too but don't live near a store otherwise this would definitely be my everyday one.
Cannot use clinique at all as it makes my eyes stream and that's not such a great look!0 -

Yes, Lancome is owned by L'Oreal, but its just an umbrella company who own many many other companies, I don't think their mascaras are the same, just like L'Oreal Elvive is no where near the same as Kerastase who are also owned by L'Oreal. It would be fantastic if everything owned by L'Oreal for example, was the same/similar but its more of a financial thing: L'Oreal fund many brands, the companies are all owned by them (Matrix, Kerastase, Redken, Shu Uemura, L'Oreal Elvive....) but thats where the similarities stop in many cases.
Its like Gucci who fund many brands, Alexander McQueen was funded by them as is Stella Mc Cartney but you never saw those tow form a collaboration or work to make the same styles/designs. (But wouldn't it have been fantastic if they did!)
However, Chanel make Bojours items, its like their baby brand, not just that Chanel own and fund the brand Bojours but that they make the stuff too, bit like Tesco making the finest line and also making the bog standard normal Tesco line.
It takes some getting your head around but hope you see what I mean!0
