Without doubt (and Im sure Im a lot older than most of you), the best mascara Ive found is Loreals Million lashes. Cant believe how long and thick it makes my lashes AND big bonus, though it doesnt say its hypoallergenic (or I didnt notice anyway), my eyes dont get sore or run like it does with all the hypo ones that I buy. Brilliant.

blinc is brilliant! No smudging, no flaking, no panda eyes. You can swim in it, sleep in it, cry in it, and it just doesn't budge. The only way it comes off is with a combination of warm water and gentle pressure. It costs around £18 and comes in loads of colours too.
Fab product, wish I'd known about it years ago!

But Mrs E said in another thread blinc has no volumising properties  and I need volumising, hence my last 3 mascara, which have been L'Oreal Voluminous, which was available in the UK when I bought my last one 2 mon ths ago and i jolly well hope it still is when I buy my next.

I don't know what I'd buy if money was no object :o I've only ever used sub £10 mascaras. I keep discovering the wonders of expensive goodieS. Please God let me be satisfied with cheap(ish) mascaras for a bit longer!

Is that the one with the awful ad where she says in a most irritating manner that she "millionises her lashes". Put me off the product straight away.....and so maddening when they have to confess the model is wearing false lashes to advertise the product too .....the mascara's good though is it?!

I've tried so many but usually end up back at Bourjois. Coup de Theatre= amazing eyes for me. Love it.

I went into a well know chemists (wont name names here as know its not allowed!) tried on some mascara as had forgotten my own, really rate the 1001 mascara- the Coup de Theatre used to be the one I rated most out of their collection. I now rate the 1001 lashes more- really recommend trying this.

That's the beauty of makeup - it just washes off! Try it when you're not going anywhere and see what happens with additional coats.
Have you thought about a lash primer - it conditions your lashes and bullds up volume without colour. Use it immediately beneath your mascara.

Have you used the Blinc primer?

I'm trying the Blinc mascara (again), love the waterproofness of it, not impressed with the volumemising of it.

TBH I dont think Ive seen the ad. I was in London in July and realised Id not brought my mascara with me so bought this one from Boots as they had an offer on :) I was blown away with how good it made my eyelashes and as I said, the BIG PLUS for me is that it doesnt irritate my eyes - which all other mascaras do. I usually have about a half hour/hour window where my eyes are ok and then they start smarting and running. Havent had that with this, which is wonderful.

Aldi Volume Lash Mascara - around £3.49. I LOVE it and I also LOVE the other skincare / beauty products they do, I always stock pile when I go in there! xx

    L'Oreal Voluminous.

Good trick to increase eyelash growth - wipe glycerine over your eyelids at night. My eyelash length and number have increased so much in the space of a few weeks!
