Oh I just bought a Maxfactor one = not sure what its called but it had an introductory offer on so assumed it's new (waterproof, black with a blue band), and I hate it, it smells funny and it sticks lashes together, and is impossible to get off!

Will try something else suggested on here I think as I just can't stand it :(
  • blinc is brilliant! No smudging, no flaking, no panda eyes. You can swim in it, sleep in it, cry in it, and it just doesn't budge. The only way it comes off is with a combination of warm water and gentle pressure. It costs around £18 and comes in loads of colours too.
Fab product, wish I'd known about it years ago!

I switched over to an M&S own brand last year because they are now BUAV approved. It's only £3 a tube, wears very well and isn't clumpy or cloggy. The formula isn't very thick, so you do need a few layers, but it gives nicely defined lashes. (I only ever bought Max Factor before, the Masterpiece one in the gold coloured tube - but I'm still not 100% certain about their animal testing policy, so it had to go!) If you look at the reviews on the M&S website, you'll see it's obviously a popular product.
