Check out the chairs in your venue and see what colour they are and what state they're in. Our venue had lovely black and gold chairs so we didn't bother with sashes. We viewed one venue though that had horrible pastel coloured chairs that were old and discoloured.
If the chairs look ok, personally I don't think you need covers. As soon as people sit down they put their jackets on the back of the chairs anyway. They look nice when the room is empty but as soon as it's full of people you don't notice them - you'll notice that all the sash advertising features the empty room.

im paying £2 per chair for chair cover, sash and that includes set up as well0

Can someone give me some advice pleeeeaaaseeeeee!!! I would love to have chair covers and sashes but the price to hire/buy is ridiculous, them some people have told me you don't need them, what do I do?????

There chair cover are £2.25 including sash and fitting. They are v.good quaility too x:)0 -

I had my venue email me pictures from previous weddings... some with chair covers some without, and decided to go without.
One to save money
Two because the chairs look ok as they are0
