I'm available too ... let's sort money out
Seriously Martin, the greedy retail banking nonsense has to stop. Vince Cable is using the right language as much as he dares from inside, and with your following and high level political contacts surely MSE can lead a revolution in banking and financial services? The political appetite for it ebbs and flows almost weekly now ... maybe we just need to spot the next big wave and jump in :money:0 -
Been with TSB for 18 yrs now and they fall over themselves to keep me happy .
Whenever I have changed details or anything it has only taken a quick phonecall or popped into any branch.
I have even paid money from one account into another without any details other than name and they have gone out of their way to trace the accounts I wanted to pay into.
They have even put transactions through as cash transfers so that they go through faster.
They ask me what I would like my overdraft set at .
All in all ,couldn't be happier with my bank .
Maybe they have it in for you ,what have you done to 'P' them off lately ?0 -
I do feel I have to jump in here and defend Lloyds. We have banked with them for over 25 years now and have had nothing but fantastic service all the way.
My card was compromised a couple of years ago and they couldn't have been more helpful - both in branch and over the phone. When my identity got nicked they were so on the ball it was incredible.
Credit where credit is due - for us they have been brilliant - thank you Lloyds.Mags - who loves shopping0 -
I've been with lloyds for six years. My account is with a very helpful small local branch, and I also have online banking, and use the telephone faster payment service. I have always had excellent service.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

None of the literature or info I had - had a sort code on it
I wont be discussing the products I've got - please stop asking about it folks - the fault hear was with Lloyds bureacracy
And please - I am more than aware debit cards have sort cards on - but as this was a savings product and I dont bank with lloyds its not relevant
Well I'm not pyschic and you didn't state in the blog it was a savings product.
But none the less, as an MSE I am surprised you don't have a Lloyds Vantage Account as it gives 4% interest (before tax) on accounts between £5-7k when you put £1,000 in each month...... (I had to say it tbh)

I will beat any price peterbaker quotes, and I will throw in a free lunch-box with snap-on plastic cutlery attachments (ideal for those deadline meetings when you just can't even get out for sandwiches but wish retain some semblance of class).Escaped from Barnet to freedom in the South-East!0 -

Well there is some gratification in knowing I haven't been victimised. It seems they treat everyone like dog's doo.

I omitted an "of" in my post but you were too polite to say. I like that kind of professional loyalty, and so I may well hire you in to deputise as my substitute sub-contracted sub-editor if Martin gives me his business! Frankly, I like the stuff you're made of, young sir!Escaped from Barnet to freedom in the South-East!0
