I started with a £200 credit limit a couple years ago and I'm on £5,500 now.0

i just use my account quite a lot but always paying it of and over 16 months my limit has gone from £400 to £2400.0

This thread made me look at the accounts my Wife and I have, and have found that some of the levels of credit on our accounts are just crazy. £6400 on Very, £1900 on Marshall, £2000 on Additions Direct amongst others.
Some of those limits were automatically increased by 25% very recently.
We are now reviewing what we really need and will close down some and maybe reduce limits on others.0 -
do you think having large amounts of credit on such accounts but not using them benefits your credit file or hinders it?0
