Littlewoods credit limit increase

well in my experience they approve you straight away with a £300-£500 credit limit, then if you use it, they increase it like 2 months later etc etc....0

I've had my Littlewoods account 6 years and started off on £1,000 CL and is now upto £10,0000

My Littlewoods limit started at £100, is currently at £3800 which I'll never get close to using, I once phoned to request an increase of £100, I was told I couldn't have this but could have an extra £300 instead which I though was odd. I prefer Littlewoods to Very, mainly because of the free delivery, due to discounts and sales I don't think I've ever paid full price for anything, alot of big ticket stuff I've got for cheaper than I've found in most shops0

My Very and Empire limts increased each month by £300 if I placed an order, Very went to £3700 and Empire to £2900 in less than one year.
I have now asked both Very and Empire to reduce both limits to £1000 and not to increase unless I request as there was no way I would ever use those high limits.0 -

lol
I started with £330 in October 2008, My credit limit is now £3300!!
Empire Stores started at £600 in February 2009, it's now £2700!
If you use them, they reward you well. I don't buy things out of there very regularly, but my Mum does.0 -
Shopdirect do have quite an 'individualised' credit evaluation and credit limit policy. If someone had no credit or address history but after a telephone discussion seemed genuine, we would either/or set a low credit limit (eg. They wanted to buy clothing worth £75 - the limit would be set to £75 to cover that order and test the account) and request a deposit payment up-front. That limit would then be manually reviewed. An automatically approved account with good payments would probably see an initial credit limit rise after 3 months.0

Yep, that sounds familiar. For my first order, I ordered a pair of trainers and a PS3 game. I got a phone call and they wanted a £14 deposit from me.
I've only had 1 or 2 issues with them, but they've been sorted. They've been good with me otherwise.0 -
i think theyre very reliable.0
