Ah right well I've been using the account constantly for about 5 months or so. After this months payment I'll have about £400 to pay. But no doubt I'll be buying some stuff lol

The website is way too addictive!

I've got a Choice catalogue and my credit limit is £2,400 and my Gus limit is £1,300. They are good because it is free P&P and their BNPL are good. VERY seems cheaper, but you have to pay in 3 parts I think?

Correct, you get interest free if you spread it over 3 months.
Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.

Well decided to apply for a VERY catalogue, getting like Brian:D
It went through and got £250 limit, I've already got about £3800 with their other books.
Might cancel the GUS book as I don't want too much credit available:eek:

I've been with Shop Direct since Feb last year.
Empire initial limit was £750, Additions started at £400.
Took about 4 months for first increases but now I find that with every order in a new month my limit rises by £300 so now at £4100 and £3100 respectively.
Opened the littlewoods account, starting limit was £1200 but hardly used so remained static.
    Hope this helps :)

The Shop Direct Group initial credit limits seem to vary,I think when I got Choice it started at £850 and quickly rose to £2400, which I'd not use on a catalogue. Anyway, ordered myself some nice Egyptian cotton bedding! got 10% off order, if you wait for the catalogue to arrive you get £10 off the first order.
Oh well, couldn't wait and ordered online!

you get the same deal if you order online. in fact i found a voucherfor 20% off first order which knocked a substantial amount off my first order!

A mate is starting to do up their flat and is thinking about using very or littlewoods to buy new stuff for it and asked me if when you apply for an account online do you get approved straight away and can start shopping or do you have to wait to sign stuff?

Me not knowing i said i would ask here for her:)
