The problem I have with Brighton is that it has a lot of people either are living on minimum wage (no fault of there own) or the daily commuters who get home so late and stressed (poor train link) that they don't have time to enjoy what they have around them. There are a small minority who can work at home but they are a small minority, Rent/Property is way to expensive, I doubt the council tax is spent wisely, Takes ages to get a parking permit to park your car, then being able to drive it somewhere and park is another story, There are loads of shops and bars but they don't exactly pay that well and the larger companies that are there know that they can pay whatever they like. You need London money to live down there but London is 60 miles away.
