what did you think lurleene? I loved it - feel really sad its gonna be turnbed in to a hollywoodised film. Have you read the trilogy? definately recommend if you haven't - although it spoiled me for other books for a while :rotfl:

    Hi

I haven't been terribly productive today, DD broke up with her BF so have been providing tea and sympathy :o .

Have tried to keep to the DFW-ways though:
    • Checked bank & updated spreadsheet
    • All food from stores
    • Been to B/Q to get some wallpaper & flooring - paid with cash :)
    • Re-run the snowball calculator to check DFD... end of 2013, assuming I can raise more cash - not great :(
    • Put loose change from my purse in penny jar
    • Surveys - 25p
    • 2 x HC & line dried
    • Picked up a few bits at Mr S - tried to just get bogofs or reduced items :)
I didn't think I'd achieved much today, but I'm always surprised at how many DFW things I manage without even thinking about it now :T.

..enjoy the rest of the evening ;)

    Morning everyone!

Soooo tired today, don't know what's up with me, blaming the weather!!!

Yesterday my DFW things were: -
    • went to cinema 10 o'clock showing with DH and DS - only £1 each :). DS's first trip to cinema and he loved it so that's a good cheap rainy day option (just need to not buy snacks etc when I'm there)
    • emptied purse of loose change into pot
    • hung out load of washing
BUT went out for lunch after cinema - thought it was 2 meals for £10 but this is a during the week only deal and I forgot it was the weekend so spent £30!!

    Today my list is: -
    • [STRIKE]hang out load of washing - looking a bit grey but it's forecast to brighten up[/STRIKE] did 2 loads :)
    • [STRIKE]check surveys[/ ] yep, 1 - it took ages tho!
    • [STRIKE]check on-line banking[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]figure out how much I've spent over the last couple of days - def overspending while I've been off from work[/STRIKE] :(yep, def spent too much, but still think I can manage without dipping further into overdraft (fingers crossed)
    • [STRIKE]do some baking[/STRIKE] chocolate little sponges, yummy :)
    • [STRIKE]make quiche for tea[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]have a NSD[/STRIKE]
That's it for me... have a great day everyone :) x
PLUS, figured out how to edit a message :D

Hi determined new ms - how do you make the pizza bases, and can you cook them from frozen? Sounds like a great option for a quick meal during the week :)

We use our bread maker to make the pizza bases as it tastes much nicer.
