  • I have just received a parking charge notice from parking eye stating that my car was seen in the Solent Pizza Hut car park in Havant Hants for more than 10 minutes and as I wasn't a customer at the Pizza Hut am liable to pay £50 or £85 if I don't pay within 14 days.
The fact is I did have a meal at the Pizza Hut who have found my order on their system.
When I outlined my concerns the manager stated that parking eye rely on intimidating vulnerable people to pay and that I would receive some further correspondence from them which I should ignore.
I have written to parking eye to complain and got nowhere.
I shall not be paying the charge and would advise everyone else that receives such intimidating and quasi legal requests to ignore them. I am in the process of contacting my MP about this company and their very dubious practices which I think border on being illegal.
I guess these companies will be the next on the list to tackle as the wheel clambers were in the past.

Get proof from the Pizza Hut in writing.

Would you please open a new thread with this post as others might like to see what develops and we don't want it running into the OP's thread here.

    Thanks.

You did not get nowhere if they rejected and sent you a POPLA code!

Start your own new thread BUT only after reading other new threads first please, to learn about how to win with a POPLA appeal and what wording to include. You only have to read page one of the forum to find POPLA appeal wording discussed and linked on lots of other threads.

Hope you are not too late, start a new thread once you have done some reading. See my signature for how to get to the first page of the forum with just one click. Then read the threads about any fake PCN, any company.

THEN start your own and show us your POPLA appeal wording draft.

this is an old thread - did you not notice the date on the posts above?

Important - the advice has changed and in england/wales is no longer 'ignore'!!!!

Instead we beat these scumbags at appeal (popla etc). No-one pays but no-one ignores due to parking eye going for court now re ignorers.

Get off this ancient archive thread and get onto reading the current advice!!!!!!!!!

Please read the sticky threads, the advice at the top of this forum, one click away - see my signature for where to click!

    OLD THREAD - STOP READING!!

Please wise up and click one click to page one to see CURRENT threads instead which tell you how to appeal and win.

PARKING EYE NOW SUE IGNORERS ROUTINELY, EVERY DAY, SO DO NOT IGNORE A PARKING EYE FAKE PCN IN ENGLAND/WALES.
