I have just received a very official looking 'parking charge notice' for parking just over an hour at the Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel.

For anyone who didn't know, the Marriott's provide 2 hours free parking for all meeting delegates, if your group spends more than £10 at the bar (which is around 1 1/2 coffees so easily done!)

Just remember to give reception your registration plate on arrival (which I did not do!)

Am appealing anyway, you never know!

    Good luck :p

Thanks for letting us know this z. Good luck with your appeal. However as this is an old thread, if you want any further help with your PCN, would you please start a new thread of your own. :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You should stop reading 2010 threads and read the current forum which answers all your questions and gives you the 2016 appeal template.

One click gets you to page one, see the small blue writing 'breadcrumb trail' running along above this thread and click on the step before this thread 'Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking'.

See my signature for the simple answer to anyone daft enough to ignore ParkingEye in England/Wales = you get sued.
