There were a couple of queries recently about time that companies take to pay.

While I was waiting to refresh sites looking for jobs (Bored and a bit anal), I sorted the last 240 jobs on my spreadsheet, and worked out how long the average time from job submission to payment was for a few companies.

Let me know if anyone thinks this shouldn't be posted and I'll take it down, but here's the result:

Not comprehensive and just a snapshot but it is what it is.

I think I'd probably use 2 after an exclamation mark or question mark as well.

Yes TG, that's correct, anything that ends a sentence has 2, a pause, like a comma etc has one.

For Gap? I haven't tried, I think I read that someone else did and got paid, but I'm too wary of Gap to try!

Wasn't sure. It doesn't say not to anywhere. Just woundered if any others had experince.

Well I'm going to be working in Huddersfield one day a week as of now, so leave some for me chick.

Yup, I do a job in Huddersfield about once every 3 months, so it's not me! Altho this week I've mostly been in North Yorkshire- ESA are fun to deal with when they get desperate!
