Right thats me done for the day!

Started off with a Supermarket cafe breakfast, two electrical enquiries, crisp and oriental job (all in the same supermarket ;)) and then on to three more crips jobs. Tomorrow I have a small super-shopper, crisp, 2 electrical enquiries, a cafe lunch and a big super-shopper and 3 more electrical enquiries - i'll be glad to get back to work for the rest!

Anybody did a sauce job and find that one of the supermarkets did not sell it?

    Hiya
Yes i did one yesterday , And the supermarket did not stock the sauce.
  • Hi, I also did one where they didn't stock it. The next two more than made up for it though, and I now also have a kitchen full of the stuff!

I'm sure it does, but it will make a lot of shoppers not bother with them again. So if the preferred fieldworker is not about, they are stuffed!

Tough one isn't it. Being one of their preferred shoppers means you're more likely to get regular work from them. I found that doing some of the last minute jobs and proving to be reliable helps.

However sometimes I think the staff don't have any idea of how long some of the jobs take and that the fee doesn't reflect the effort involved. It puts me off going for some of their jobs!

I had an email off them once to do an audit one day and it said "I have only emailed you" which made me feel special, then a follow up email asking me to cover the rest of that weeks audits which made me realise that I was their back up after their first person had said no.

Once you get in with them they're good to work for.
lol im going to south america :D where are you going? i can do crisps but will have to miss 2 audits and mini one prob :(

I'm off to Florida and a cruise around the Bahamas! 3 weeks in the sun, I can't wait! I only do the audits fortnightly so will miss one of them. Should be alright, I can cover another one later on if they want me to.

South America sounds fun too though :)

I know this may sound silly but how you do the electrical ones in a supermarket? Do they actually stock the brand in store or do you have to refer to their catalogue?
These were RE jobs that I actually saw and I don't see many.

The larger supermarkets normally have a tech department in which they stock tvs, computers, cameras etc. I was in one recently doing a job for another company and I remember seeing that brand.

Everyone has their own experience. If you are lucky enough to live in an area where they don't already have their favourites then your experience with this company is obviously going to be better.

At least the RE system is genuinely fastest finger first. Like others I have replied within seconds of getting an email only to be told several days later that the work has already been allocated. If I receive a reply at all that is. Personally I have found that their communication leaves a lot to be desired.

A few months ago I'd've shouted you down over this, but, having been treated ATROCIOUSLY because I had the sheer audacity to go on holiday and miss out a month of CNS jobs, I think I actually agree with you!! I was doing the CNS because I wanted to show the company I was a good worker but they have showed me !!!!!!-all loyalty for doing them for 8 months so I sure as hell aint showing them any now!

Could not agree with you more. I have not had any major problems with RE. Have had a hiccup now and then but on the whole, it's all good.

I'm sure the company that does not like to be names are good as well. But in my opinion, they suck. And from what TractorGirl has said, I don't think it's a company I will have anything more to do with.
