I'm a graduate accountant too, never actually got into it workwise. Would like to one day. I think TIMNE was getting married at one point and then he just disappeared. I used to like his posts. :-)0 -

I just got really bored with it. Did four years in industry after it but you can only do so many tax returns, P11d's and CIS returns before it gets really monotonous
Have a couple of sole traders and limited companies I prepare accounts / submit tax returns for but I'm pleased it's just a few. Keeps my hand in and I can do it watching TV lol.
Yeah I liked his posts too. When I first started MSing I read through a lot of the back threads there's mountains of useful information in amongst them.0 -

Think they're taking the mickey if they want three exterior shots as well as the normal scenario for 10% less fee!!
Yup, mine are the same number and no photos mentioned. Maybe this is a test run and an ominous sign of things to come!ELITE 5:2

If it's childrens only then it's just the enquiries normally never seen it require you to try anything on
I did a couple of these last week. Read the questionnaire carefully before you go, as the instructions were not too clear. I had to buy something in the children's dept. also look at children's shoes. Buy something in the ladies clothes, make a query about shoes, and use the changing rooms too. Really quite a bit to cover for the fee.0 -

Will definitely agree with you there, it is an awful lot of work for the pittance they pay on the job... I did five of them last week and mainly just because there was some stuff I wanted from there anyway so got a little bit of money off thanks to the reimbursement. To be honest I don't think the shop concerned actually sells anything that comes in under the reimbursement!0 -

I ended up with wrapping paper and hair bandsSpent over half an hour in the shop and came out with those, talk about a dead give away. Even if the reimbursement was enough to cover socks it'd be better, at least they're clothes.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

I bought some gift cardsmight as well pool them together and buy something I do want... I don't have kids so seemed pointless buying anything else in the kids dept!

Not sure which shop you mean then but I think it's unlikely you will have to use the fitting rooms in the children's dept, otherwise the scenario would dictate that you have to take a child with you. What exactly do the assignment notes say to do in the kids dept?0 -
