Appologies for 2 posts in one go, but forgot to also ask, for a Drive Through job at a fast food place, is it still important to be alone??
Are they likely to know either way. I know someone mentioned before that they can review CCTV, but even then how would they know which customer I am?
They check on CCTV to spot the shopper as you have to enter your receipt details and time you did the job. If you had someone in the car with you, they will claim it invalidated your report. Even a sleeping baby in a car seat is not allowed on those jobs.
They seem to only want perfect results back. If you send a bad report, they look at ways to discredit you. I've been accused of having people with me, buying the food and leaving instead of dining in and all sorts which were not true! I also got into trouble for going to the toilet before ordering food. I was really bursting for a wee though! Here I go again on my own....0 -
On my one regular crisp job the reaction changed every month, from 'oh, ok, go ahead' through being made to waste 1/2 an hour going through the back to speak to the appropriate manager, to the time when a manager refused to let me do it until they'd had a tidy up and stock refill. I now do it covertly, as early in the day as possible, just to save time.0

I did wonder about getting caught, with respect to the covert audits. I have done three 200+ availability checks this month and I am sure the staff thought I was plain odd being in the store that long......has anyone ever been caught doing them? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. has anyone had an invoice for the soft drink audits done in lasy few days of july?
Not me, and it took ages too. No one would speak to me afterwards so had to do it over the phone the next day! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Some people are a little cheeky. Quite annoyed actually. Have not been paid for an audit i did. Email 3 time and not recieved a reply so, added the invoice onto this months and said please investigate.
Got a quick email back from that, telling me i was never allocated the job. HA! Cos i commonly go out and waste my time doing jobs that haven't yet been alloacted in the hope they will be.
I have replied saying i can quite happily forward you the emails confirming the job is mine and spoke to somebody in the office about it as i asked for a different day.
Cheeky sod!I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
Wahey! Just received the sacking email from Gapbusters for doing nothing - literally NOTHING. Guess my reluctance to do any fast food jobs and missing out on all the petrol jobs by seconds is the reason. Understand that in a way, but the wording of it is completely over the top - made me laugh out loud.
From what I read on here I think I am quite gratefulJanuary 2012 GC £296.96/£3000 -
At least you've had the courtesey of an email - I just can't apply for anything and as for paying me, goodness knows when that's going to happen!!! RE might be a pain in the backside with proof reading and nit picking but at least they pay quickly and their website is easy to navigate and use!0

Welcome to the Gap Busted club! :rotfl:0 -
Hello
I have just done a recorded call and I had to place an order. My full card details are now on that recording and I am a wee bit concerned about the security issues especially because of Squeaky's experience yesterday. Does anyone know what happens to these recordings and how many hands they actually pass through?
Thanks0
