I personally wouldn't bother as the points mean absolutely nothing. There is no benefit for accumulating thousands of points as they don't give any of their loyal shoppers preferential treatment.

    I agree with Ms Girl.

    Pointless :D

    BTW
I've had actual "proof reading" queries after the job has been paid\refunded!

I can't find the original post, buried somewhere in this thread but I was asked to report how long it took to do my first RE assignment.

I've just come back and submitted the report - it took me around 20 minutes to read the briefing notes and print off all the stuff, questionnaire etc.

Around 30 minutes to walk to and from the location and complete the assessment, it is literally just around the corner.

Another 20 minutes to enter all the details.

I expect I can knock 10 minutes off that once I get used to the RE systems.

It was a betting shop that might "make a boy poor" - is that too obvious! lol

I've recently done a job for RE and I noticed my score got added to a couple of days ago, I gained the 10 points for doing the job and the 2 for doing it on the initial date but I also lost one for a proofreading query. The money for it has now been added to my amount to be paid on 25th but I still haven't had any messages within the site or any emails, is the -1 a mistake and should I contact them about it? Who would be best to contact?

As mysterious girl says, points are meaningless.

Bear in mind that a points deduction for a proofreading query does not necessarily indicate that the proofreader has queried (or intends to query) something with the shopper. The points deduction can also happen if the proofreader highlights anything in the report for the attention of the account manager. This is just one of the things that make the points meaningless!:D

Wahey! Just received the sacking email from Gapbusters for doing nothing - literally NOTHING. Guess my reluctance to do any fast food jobs and missing out on all the petrol jobs by seconds is the reason. Understand that in a way, but the wording of it is completely over the top - made me laugh out loud.

From what I read on here I think I am quite grateful :)

I got one for no apparant reason a couple of days after I got back off holiday. They seem to have a cull now and again. I wouldn't worry about it as you probably didn't do anything wrong.

Hi can some please PM or point me in the right direction as to where I need to send my self assessment short form off to? I have printed it off the Internet but it doesn't give an address. I have tried to call the helpline twice today but was told it was busy and cut off.

    Thanks in advance x

Thanks. They edited out my details and then sent me the amended recording for me to listen to.

I hope you are home soon - we miss you! xx
