I feel a right prat at the moment - I've got a photo shop booked for Thursday and, although I know which town it is, I've forgotten which Company I was doing it for! Can anyone please tell me which Company had these - I've looked at the one I thought it was but its not there and I can't get at the paperwork until I find out who it was for. Daft or what?

I've decided I don't like recorded phone calls. Just done two, and it was horrible knowing someone will be listening to me stutter and stumble when they asked questions I didn't know the answer to.
I love them! You just need to prepare what you're going to say beforehand. I love the idea that I can just sit at home and do them while I've got the kids running about. Beats housework! And if you get enough of them they're a nice little earner.

Has anyone had their Abai catalogue payments for July yet?

I still haven't been paid for three I did on the 3rd.

That gives me some comfort. At least they've not left me out. I did two last month and am still waiting. Should be any day now. I've got my posh department store payment pending in my bank account for tomorrow.

Is it just me or is anyone else finding the proofreaders at RE are going ridiculously over the top lately. I used to never get anything back and now it's getting to be nearly every job and for the stupidest things. I had one back today and I had clearly answered the question so have no idea what they were expecting me to do with it??
In case it's just me, it was for a sandwich shop and the question was something like how clean, tidy and organised was the shop. I gave it the second highest and said it was very clean and tidy, the organisation was fairly good but I had really struggled to get to the pastry cabinet as it was round the other side of the counter right in the back corner and as there was a queue it was impossible to get past.
The query said, 'state how they could improve' erm - that was my suggestion!!

I have been getting ridiculous querys. One confirming what I brought when I clearly wrote what I brought and they had the receipt. Others were questions that I had clearly given detailed explanations for and I had to repeat myself again. I was deducted 20 points for a job with querys that I had answered the questions and they said they had no answered saved for them.
  • Anyone had a re assignment failed because the wrong location entrance has been photographed? I did a store with two entrances and they say the image I have does not match their image on file.

No, its not them! I thought it was ESA but there's nothing in my box. It was the job where you had to take in some downloaded pics and enquire about getting a canvas picture made.

I am sure it was ESA as i seem to remember putting an alert on for them when they were released....

Edit - Yeah just checked and it was - however I did not accept any so not sure of the brief so might be something different.

As far as I know that was ESA. Phone them and find out. If you put 400 miles in the search option on your home page then it should let you see other photo shops in different locations, that might help in seeing the brief and determining if it is the same as the one you think you have.
