People like him do have a home you know. I'm sure he might change his mind on refunds if people let him know they knew where he lived. I'm not condoning anything naughty of course.

    yes indeed.
  • Hi, glad I found this thread. I've also have been scammed by First National / Hallmark finance, they took £3k off me last year. All the stories here I can relate too ie. uncontactable via phone, same signatures but with different names underneath it, the smoking fake surveyor that came out etc... did any one else notice the amount of spelling mistakes on their emails? I contacted and reported them the City of London fraud squad and also Action fraud but have heard nothing back on the case. I have heard they are being investigated by a detective in Manchester.

I requested my money back from First National but they played dumb. After reading this thread, I think I will request a SAR or I think I will actually go to see Lloyd or whoever he is in London. I presumed it was just a PO box before but now I know this is not the case.

I'm actually surprised this thread is still here, there have been numerous threads about First National / Hallmark on other forums but they all get removed as they threaten heavy legal action if the posts are not removed.

Let me know if I can help anyone in anyway to take down First National / Hallmark Finance or set them up in a BBC or ITV fraud program so they will be finally busted.

    hello everyone

    still here

    am still on his/their case.

please look at my new blogger.com blog - called MRS DETERMINED - entitled - GET THE GOVERNMENT TO INVESTIGATE THE DEBT PURCHASING INDUSTRY.

I HAVE ALSO REGISTERED AN E-PETITION AT HM GOVERNMENT PETITIONS - CALLED - GET THE GOVERNMENT TO INVESTIGATE THE DEBT PURCHASING INDUSTRY.

all this is because of another major scandal that is destroying this country in that 40 % of people in this country are having to deal with debt collectors.

this 'debt' is in fact false in most cases as these !!!!!s are buying the 'debt' for pennies in the pound and then chasing people for the full value etc etc. when the 'debt' is bought by the debt collectors it is discharged - therefore - paid off - but then they make money out of reinventing the debt. the original lender writes off the debt and indeed claims on their insurance for the loss AND also on top claims - TAX RELIEF !!!!!

this is a HUGE, HUGE, scandal. and is causing people to literally kill themselves etc.

we feel passionate about this situation too and any support you can give would be greatly appreciated and we are sure that some of you understand first hand about these sharks.

    lets get them too.

    see MRS DETERMIND-BLOGGER.COM

will be back with full update regarding hallmark etc

all the best and have good weekend

This appears somewhat of an over statement

Majority of debt is not insured. If insurance monies are received then this is taxable.

I could make further observations as your statements are a little wild and wide of the mark.
  • who are you exactly?

you havent written on this hallmark page at all - so dont understand your input

we are working with a prominent MP regarding this matter and have it on good authority that 40% is an accurate figure - people tend to keep it quiet as they feel falsely ashamed - something the debt collection industry wants to happen.

we also have inside information from someone high up in a large debt collection firm - who left because he was so disgusted with their practices. so we do know what we are talking about.

    your post is not relevant.

    knowledge is power.
  • I have received a letter this morning advising the Hallmark has gone into adminstration. Maybe he actually bust or perhaps it is a way of evading action. This is the first time I have seen this thread and it shows the standard line he takes with all. The fees paid were modest, I thought, as did my clients but they will be lost as I assume that I will never know if there ever was a lender. He must have been pulling in a lot of cases to make any sort of a living. I did go and meet Lloyd Green and he seemed a plausible sort of bloke, bought me lunch. I would have said that he is a typical North London Jewish guy but it seems that he also a good actor. I also reported them to Barnet TS approx 2 years ago but have heard nothing back from them. It seems that it is time to tell my last client to forget it and go back to the drawing board.
  • this certainly has turned into a big can of worms - more and more of us have been ripped off.

if he has gone into administration then barnet trading standards will be able to confirm this and we need to find out the contact details of the administrators. or he might be making this up as a ploy - either way - we can get this confirmed. i will be contacting barnet trading standards later today. it is also published in the press where hes at - if its true.

we are still awaiting further news from the police etc etc - these things take ages - but we are never going to give up.

closing the business doesnt get away from the fact of what he has done to us all and we can still persue matters.

i am considering a tort claim against him for damages as this has caused untold stress and upset.
