So my feelings of calm have now been shattered! Had an e-mail from CCCS saying that they can't reconcile my OH's earnings from his self assessment to what I have entered on debt remedy. This is because he didn't really earn much last year at all but this year has done better and I've put this years figures down. I can't ring them yet as I'm away but have mailed them to let them know.
My worry is always the winter, when OH's work dries up anyway so I'm not sure whether this is going to stop us from going on a DMP. The panic is now starting to set in again as I don't know what we will do if we can't go on a DMP - don't want to go BR as we will lose our house:(

Hi Ellie
Lets hope when you get back they will be able to help you
Please try to keep positive
Take care Jackiexxx0 -
Thanks for your support Jackie, positive feelings are disappearing a little bit these last two days and we are being inundated with phone calls. This is making it difficult for OH as his business depends on people ringing and he is now ignoring calls so doesn't know if he is missing any genuine business.
Going to ring CCCS this morning before going into work to see if they can help.
Will post later with the outcome

I've spoken to the CCCS this morning as they were querying my OH's income from his business. I had sent his self assessment to them which made for horrendous reading i.e. no work for 9 months:eek:
CCCS were fine and accepted that he is now making a bit more money so that we can afford to make payments. All being well our DMP should be up and running on 1st Sept
I love the singy songy voices that the CCCS people have, they really do have a calming effect on me.:oDebt Free 1st March 2017

Hi Ellie
Thats good to hear they do seem to have a knack of making you feel better and not to worry.
Have a good evening Jackiexxx0 -
Well, Friday 13th wasn't so bad after all.... Barclaycard have agreed to suspend interest for 30 days whilst our DMP is set up. All other letters were computer generated to say that we have missed payments.:)
We're getting a lot of telephone calls but we expected this as we have 11 creditors in total if we count the OD and bank loan. We are just ignoring calls at the moment.:o
Finished work for a holiday, so I can get everything organised properly and make sure that all DD's are set up for beginning of next month.:)
Business account is looking a bit shaky, so that's a worry but there's not much that I can do about that:(

Hi Ellie
Good news about Barclaycard but shame about phone calls hoepfully this will stop when they get their first payment.
Had a new statement from Barclaycard this morning and have stopped all interest and accepted the £55.67 each month quite relieved as this is my biggest creditor.
Had a massive row with hubby this morning guess what about MONEY suprise suprise, I now refuse to feel guilty about it anymore as am trying my best but he obviously thinks Im not, maybe a few days away from him mght do the trick who knows.
Anyway have a good break hope you are not going to just sort out your money and something nice.
Speak soon Jackiexxxx0 -
Hi Jackie,
Good news for you too re: Barclaycard, long may it continue!
Two more letters arrived to today for me, one from M&S to say that they will wait for CCCS to contact them with a proposal for payment and in the meantime to keep up with the £1 token payments and the other from MBNA who say that they "look forward" to discussing my level of repayment and to let me know that the reduced payment programme will be recorded on my file for the life of the account and then for a further 6 years afterwards:eek:
I've been busy baking this afternoon. I haven't done any cooking/baking for ages as OH usually does it all. I've really enjoyed myself making batches of different soups and flans to freeze and I've even dug out my breadmaker and there is a fruit loaf baking as I write:) My breadmaker is almost new (probably only used 5/6 times) and has sat in a cupboard for years. I had to re-stock with ingredients but had £11 of Tesco vouchers so only had to pay 20p towards the cost and will probably have around 18 meals in total:j
Sorry to hear that you are rowing with hubby and you are right to not feel guilty. You are doing your best to sort everything out and are making headway. This has been a big step for you to take, but you have done it and that took courage. Perhaps when everything settles down and you are making inroads with your debt he will realise that you are doing well and facing your problems;)
My hubby just comes out with stupid statements but just does not get involved so everything is left to me. I just carry on regardless and don't let him get to me;)
Are you going to your parents soon? I'm going to enjoy my hols from work, just not having to travel will be great!
Look after yourself and speak soon

Hi Ellie
Thanks for the encouragemnt, think I might have to start baking as well I go to Sainsburys and it takes ages to build up rewards my Tesco is too far away and not worth going.
Lets hope it settles down for you , I think I am a few weeks ahead of you and now just waiting for Aqua to let me know. I think you have to ignore the computer generated letters and not take it personaly and think it just a machine churning them out, I use to panic when I got them but now I think oh well.
I didnt realise that it stays on your record for further 6 years after the plan had finished, I will be an old lady by then.
My hubby says really stupid things like your not budgeting properly and their no decent food in the house, and if you cant afford to go away then dont go. I want to scream and say for F...... sake I need a break and a life, dont you understand. Like you I dont tell him anything anymore I just plod on on my own me and the kids, Im not quite sure if this marriage is going to last at the moment, It might get better when everything settles down lets hope.
Yes off to parents today for a bit of a rest and some home cooking hubby driving us there as cant afford the petrol then picking us up on friday.
Enjoy your time off from work hope you are doing something nice a trip to the Spa would be nice ha ha!!!!!
