Right, today my salary has gone into our existing bank account (for the last time) so starts our new lifestyle of budgeting properly:)
Still waiting for the details of our new bank account but as soon as that comes through I can start moving all our DD's over.
I have 14 envelopes ready to start filling with our monthly budget amounts, each one labelled with a different item e.g. car, work, food etc. - I'm doing it this way so that I can keep an eye on each without it all being swallowed up in one place.
It feels very strange that we have money to be able to set up a budget, usually everything that we have is thrown at debt.
I'm feeling quite positive today (I'm sure that will change!!)
Well, onwards and upwards:)

New bank account details received this morning, now in an utter state of panic!!! (knew my positive stance would change - see last post)
There's so much to do, take money out of existing account and move it to new account. Let DD's go out of existing account for mortgage, insurance, gas, elec etc. and then cancel DD's
Send everything to CCCS
Buy more postal orders
Put money away according to budget - now worrying whether there is enough
My head feels like it is about to explode and my nerves are shattered - not sure that I can keep this up????
On the bright side...... can't think of anything:o

Hi Ellie sorry to hear about your daughter
I know the feeling about doing something wrong thats how I feel. Going to post office Monday to make my first payment of £169 to CCCS, Feeling very guilty as well that my money isnt going to creditors Oh well onwards and upwards.
Hope you are ok Jackiexxxxx0 -
So everything is now ready to send to CCCS tomorrow and I have moved some money to new account and started to cancel DD's on old account.
Have my postal orders ready to send off tomorrow as well.
OH is being a pain in the a!se - I think that he has got fed up of all this already as he is complaining that it is dominating every conversation and he thought that I would be over it by now:mad: Hello!! he just doesn't get it!! Sometimes I wish I had his attitude and could just shrug it off but I'm not like that. He doesn't feel guilty about what we are doing at all and just thinks that the CC's have had many thousands over the years so it's high time we said no more.
All that this will do to me is make me withdraw and not discuss anything with him, so I will need my MSE pals more than ever:T
I've calmed down from yesterday a bit but I'm not sleeping well and think that I'm having panic attacks i.e. heart feels like it's bouncing out of my chest and my head is aching constantly, nerves are completely shattered.

Hi Jackie, I know exactly the feeling you are talking about:) I think that its the waiting that worse, it just feels as though you are in limbo all the time and doing normal things just feels surreal:o
Anyway, cleaning the house at the moment to take my mind off everything, just day dreaming about winning the lottery:rotfl:
Take care
