Panic rating 15/10 - got to renew my car insurance but is this classed as credit? - need my car for my job
Closeness of bladder to eyes 9/10 - trying to keep "normal" in work but want to cry and go home! (not necessarily in that order)
Further panic when thinking about OH's business - DMP completed on assumption that he earns some money but what happens if he doesn't?

Where have my positive thoughts gone? They have been replaced by panic and despair and feelings of doom!!

One positive thought - think that I am losing weight but then...... I have sold everything that doesn't fit me on ebay!

Hi Jackie, I had to laugh at some of your comments - we have so much in common, but you have more money than me LOL, I only have 7p in my purse but my roots need doing and I too make excuses not to go out with my colleagues.

We have been cooking from scratch for quite a while now, so our freezer has plenty of batch cooked meals

I have enough petrol to get to work tomorrow, then I will work from home on Thursday and have booked the day off on Friday

Not having a very good day today, panicking now that I won't be able to meet the DMP payment because OH has no work!

    Speak soon

Enormitity of what we are doing has finally hit the OH as we have no money (well I still have 7p in my purse).

Panicky feelings not too bad at the moment, I'm sure that I will feel better when I have sent off some token payments, opened a new bank account and sent everything back to CCCS so I have booked a day off on Friday to do all of this.

I have started to organise everything going forward so that I can budget properly - very anal in my OH's eyes but at least organisation is one of my better skills so will come in useful.

I'm feeling much better today and not as panicky, which is a good sign:)

OH is now totally on board and that makes things much easier:)

I must have also been a right old witch at work and had a real good chat with my boss yesterday and as much as I tried not to cry, it didn't work. I thanked him last night for being understanding (he doesn't know about my financial situation) and I also apologised to my colleagues who have been in the firing line of all my stress and frustration. I got some lovely e-mails from them (so cried again) but I feel much happier at work than I have for a long time:T

I have now got a filing system for all my debts and intend to keep track over the coming years so that I can see the debt coming down!

Just read the debt free roll of honour, full of inspiration and my target is to be on that list;)

Post has arrived and no nasty suprises today:o

Last night I applied for a standard Co-op bank account but with no overdraft - have to wait to see if this is accepted, if not will go for a cashminder account.

Digging out all the statements etc. for CCCS today so will hopefully have all of those ready to send back later today.

Bought a Postal Order for £1 to send to MBNA - this is hard to do as payment should be for £90:eek:

Got my filing system in place ready for all the letters that I am expecting

On a positive note - going for lunch with my parents as it is their wedding anniversary:) They don't know how much debt we are in and I'm not going to tell them as they would only worry, so have to put on a brave face today.

This period of time feels like the calm before the storm but they can't have what I haven't got:o

Now there's a scary thought - I have just worked out what I have paid on CC's since February 10 and what has actually come off the balances - £5758 paid and wait for it........... £1986 off the balances:eek::eek:

    That will keep me focused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After being positive for a day and a half I have just been refused a standard bank account with the Co-op :( now it's starting to sink in just how hard this is going to be - I've not been used to being refused.

Still, maybe it's for the best :)

Not as positive today, being refused the standard bank account brought home our situation a bit and the panic set in again.

So, today I am going to attempt to find our local branch of Co-op to set up a cashminder account. I can't send back the forms to CCCS until we have a bank account. I'm going to leave the business account alone for now to see if they offset (I read on here that someone else has done this and they are not taking money out of the business account)

My wage will go into my original account for this month but at the moment we have only sent token payments to one creditor so hopefully our new account will be up and running before anyone finds out.

Have now been able to put some money into the emergency fund (only £10) from OH's work this week. Normally all his money would have been used to pay CC's so it seems strange that we have enough to go food shopping, put petrol in the car and van and put a bit away:)

Also, cannot believe how many people that we are coming into contact with are struggling. My OH meets numerous people each day and everyone has the same tale of woe. :(

    Hi ellie
received my pack from cccs today showing that creditors have all been written to with an offer lets hope they are all ok with the offers. It dosnt look very much, but hey they are getting something.

Keep getting phone calls from Vanquis trying to stay calm getting fed up with saying "speak to the CCCS and quoting ref no" they keep saying that they havnt received anything from them which I know is a lie.

Just got another call about a minute ago "SO THE PHOEN CALLS HAVE STARTED KNEW IT WAS TOO QUIET" trying to have a relaxing weekend might turn the phone off.

    Hope you are ok JackieXXXX
