Hi Ellie

Hows things, got pack from cccs today showing what they are going to pay my creditors dont think they are going to be very pleased some are getting very much. Oh well. The phone calls have now started espcially from Vanquis who seem to be dening all knowledge of receiving anything from me or the cccs which is complete rubbish, the girl this morning was quite nice though. Have tried not to get stropy but it is hard when every couple of hours the same number keeps coming up it makes my heart pound

I expect i will get hardened to it all in time at the moment it feels quite raw. Its quite nice feeling knowing that I will have some spare cash for the holidays, but cant help feeling a bit guilty that my creditors arnt getting much oh well.

Hi Ellie

I seem to have repeated myself sorry thought first post wasnt on. Have read all your posts hope you are ok. I was ok until i realised I have £20 to go on holiday with tomorrow as forgot to pay Avon and it has now left me short.

Had to ask husband for some spending money so he gave me a lecture "wher do you think im getting the money from etc" so he is now in bad mood and so am i. He is begrudginly giving me £40 so am now worried that I havent got enough to entertain the kids what a horrible feeling.

Also hubby has said what am i going to eat when your away S.... hadnt thought about him and his needs he now expects me to use some of the money to go and get him some food he is only 49 dont think he knows where the shop is.

Anyway sorry to hear about not being given a bank account are you going to try somewhere else?

I am having good day and bad days today is a bad day and am feeling crappy

Hi Jackie, yes this is going to be the hard bit with the phone calls isn't it? Theres a thread on here somewhere that will make you laugh regarding phone calls, I'll dig it out and put the link on here... it certainly cheered me up:rotfl:

My OH is o.k. at the moment but I know he will get fed up of not having much money and that's when he will start being grumpy (he's 49 too!)

Not feeling great this morning, positive feelings have been replaced by despair, stress and panic:(

The thought that hit me in the night was "how do I change the direct debit for the mortgage, its with the bank that I have a loan and credit card with" - this was compounded in the night and became a bit of a nightmare scenario i.e. they would offset my mortgage payment against the other things that I owe them and my mortgage would be in arrears and then my house would be repossessed and we would be homeless:eek: Rationally I know that this is not going to happen but when you are lying awake it becomes a real possibility. So I can't shake these feelings at the moment and just want to hide somewhere until it is all over:(

Today has just got a whole lot worse:eek: nothing to do with money - my daughter and her boyfriend were assaulted for no reason as they walked home from their friends house last night! My daughters boyfriend was punched and knocked out and my daughters nose was broken as they walked past a man on the road, no warning, nothing said and then he just walked on. Luckily the police were close by and were there very quickly and they have 5 witnesses!!

All thoughts of money, debt and everything else totally disappeared. Just shows that money really is secondary when something happens like this:(

Anyway, the man (I use the term loosely) has been arrested and is in custody.

So today I have sent 1 token payment and have a postal for the 2nd - sent recorded delivery - now waiting for the phone calls to kick in - not much else to report today, just playing a waiting game now:)

Do not feel positive at all, both myself and OH are depressed by what is happening to us, not just money but also our daughter and her boyfriend who are both badly beaten and shaken up. Makes you wonder what is around the corner and whether you can keep taking what life throws at you.

This has been the worst 2 years of our lives and looks like it is getting steadily worse. My OH would like to pack in the business and get a job so that at least we have a bit of security but there don't seem to be any jobs where we live at the moment.

Perhaps we are feeling sorry for ourselves at the moment:o I keep trying to look forward and remind myself that there are people in a far worse position than us

Second token payment sent and third postal bought.

Phone calls have now started on house phone and to OH's mobile - I had removed his mobile from the web site but they obviously still have it. This is going to be difficult as mobile is for his business.

God knows how much the phone is going to ring when it is all 9 creditors ringing:eek:

Feeling more positive again today, Gosh, this certainly is a roller coaster!!

Should soon be getting the new bank account details so I will be able to send the documents back to CCCS and get the ball rolling.

Organised everything into a filing system so that I can keep track of what's happening.

I have envelopes for everything in our budget, this is far more money than we have had for a while so it doesn't feel right somehow. I feel as though I'm doing something wrong because I'm not sending all my money to creditors:o
