Hello, hope you dont mind but I have subscribed. Good luck with your new venture. I am looking forward to seeing how you develop. I havent been brave enough yet to start a diary but who knows maybe one day. I too love quotes and poetry and I am always looking for something relevant. Not sure how relevant this is but it is currently my quote on my favourite quote so I thought I would share
"Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead." (Louisa May Alcott)Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Good morning all, Sunday Quote of the day,
Don't hurry, don't worry, your only here for a short visit, so be sure to stop and smell the flowers' (Walter Hagan)
But after saying that , things to do today are
take son to American football practice (30 miles away)
on return go to mr t
cook HM lasagne for to night ( making it as big as possible with grated carrot, red slit lentils and anything else that will slip under there radar from the bottom of the fridge)
Freeze any leftovers for HM ready meals
Plant out tomato plants that I got with tesco points
Have a coffee while in the garden and take the time to enjoy my roses(I love roses and I do tell them how gorgeuos they are, sad I know, but it gives me joy and it's free!
Pick up son, I could save money by not coming home but the practice is 3 hours long, so I wouild only go window shopping. And there's a huge garden centre over the road, I'm not that strong when it comes to plants.
Cherisong I love that quote, I try to live that way, enjoy the journey, don't put life on hold until you get there. Live life and dream big
Pnpsuknet , yes thanks I have done that. I gave up my job in Feb and have been E-baying a lot as an income so declared being self employed then. I don't think I will pay tax yet as I just keep spending out on website, leaflets, etc. I have been doing my accounts on the 1st of each month so I know how I stand. Knee deep in poo usually:rotfl:, but as long as I can see the way ahead I will be fine. I love watching business programs where some one comes in and helps a small business. The same problem comes up, could be a good business but they have no idea about the money side, how much is coming in, how much is going out, how much they need to make, and how to make in more profitable. All the things we are helping each other to learn here. We or our family is our business, I want the Knitwit family to be in profit by the year end, so we can invest in our future.
Sorry I stepped on my soap box again, coffee time

What a good way of looking at it. I love the idea of a business where HM lasagne is currency! As is ebaying, talking to the roses and avoiding garden centres. Though I might pass on the last one, it sounds seriously tempting to me.
I hope the lasagne was enjoyed by all?Miggy

I have been out delivering my hypno leaflets, even though I did'nt get any calls from saturdays drop. I'm feeling a bit down today, I have no clients booked in and bills on the way. So 'today's quote is 'YOU ONLY FAIL WHEN YOU QUIT'
I may need to get a job , get myself straight, while working on my business, otherwise I'm going to get into debt. I need to stop wishing the phone would ring and think of how I can make it ring.
Let me see;
Passing old work place tomorrow can drop in leaflets and spread the word
put message out on facebook about taking bookings
putting out more leaflets tommorrow still got over 1000 to go
Anyone out there got any idea's I need HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP PLEASESew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it0 -
On a good note, lasagne was lovely, had it last night, some one (not me) had a midnight snack slice and I still had enough to freeze for another day. I may have no money but I've still got yummy lasagne
. On the menue tonight, easy dinner of salmon baked in the oven with herbs and lemon, chips, mushrooms, peas, sweetcorn. Think I will make a jelly to make the strawberries stretch.

Hi Knitwit!
Looking forward to seeing all your fab progress! I love quotes or sayings as well and actually got some good ones just this morning which were quite funny....
Deep Thoughts For Those Who Take Things Way Too Seriously:
- A day without sunshine is like...night.
- On the other hand, you have different fingers
- The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese in the trap.
- If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments
- What happens if you get scared half to death twice?
And probably my favourite....
- Just remember - if the world didn't suck, we would all fall off.
:rotfl:They brightened my morning anyway!
Lasagne is also on the menu in our house this week....hubby's speciality! :j
Hope you're having a good day!

Thank's you,ve cheered me up, I love those:rotfl:. Just been looking at what jobs are around and it's made me more determined to stay self employed. I DON'T WANT TO GET BACK ON THE HAMSTER WHEEL IT MAKES ME DIZZY. Sorry the heat is sending me crazy, I will go calm down. Maybe try a mind map, it works for memory girlSew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it0
