Orlando, my OH & I both love Disney, we're gong with my prents & bros & sis, they very kindly paid for the villa so all we had to buy was our plane tickets & spends & most of the plane tickets were paid for with wedding gifts, so looking frwd to it, it's been a tough year trying to pay everything off by Jan '10 so we can try for a little rugrat! :eek:0 -

We've been out all weekend mooching round castles and priories, cheers EH. So its been good, but i'm shattered think i've walked way too much. Our plans today are the hospital for me, sorting the house out and if i'm not too foraging for berries.
Were back to the budget after the past few weeks of spoiling the boys. Now its sensible time again.
Cars till in the garage and we haven't had a bill yet for that.So i'm dreading it.
Guess what i have two chillies yayayayay! So chuffed and lots of little tom's. Going to put the leeks out today as well. I know its late but i just haven't been well enough to do anything.
Going to check up on the ebay stuff now.
Have a good day all x0 -
MSE email cost me £60 on Friday
Printed off £5 voucher for Lidls if you spent £30, haven't been to Lidls for ages so spent over £60.
Was still a good thing though I spent more than planned, got lots of things for freezer and store cupboard.
Bit surprised at prices on a lot of things in Lidl, they don't seem to be as cheap as used to be, quite a bit seemed to be the same price as usual supermarket or is it just me?There is no issue so small that it can't be blown out of proportion0 -

Crossing my fingers and toes for your dad.
Went to Whitby on Saturday and walked along the beach, had a paddle, treated the five of us to a sit down fish and chips tea, then visited Goathland and the Heartbeat locations with a cup of tea in the car before going home. Nothing flash but had a lovely day.
I use turkey mince for spag bol, lasagne and "mansion pie" (Bernard Matthews). I add grated carrots, onions, sliced mushroom, handful of red lentils and porridge oats, tin tomatoes and loads of herbs etc to bulk it out.
I also use it for burgers- mix it with finely chopped onion, black pepper, salt, herbs and spices (used coriander and herbes de Provence last time and they loved it.) Shape into burgers, place in large oven tray and cook for about 25 mins or so.
DH is sorting out the shower which has flooded the bathroom floor of the house we borrowed and will pop down to solicitor to see if we have a date to exchange contracts etc for new house.
Removal guy is coming to look at our stuff tomorrow to quote for a move but we can't give him a date to move yet! Whimper."This site is addictive!"

Just heard from our solicitors. Vendors can't empty house till mid September!!!! So much for a quick sale when they accepted our very reasonable offer at the end of June.
I'm in tears and DH is tempted to withdraw our offer on the spot- approach someone we know is about to put their house on the market and then we can extend etc to get what we want.
Phoned estate agent and pointed out we had told everyone involved we wanted to be moved in August and felt we had been misled. We only offered the amount we did because it was supposed to be a quick sale with no chain etc.
Trying really hard to be sensible but don't feel I can trust anyone now.
Furious that the five of us have to spend another month in this place so one of vendor's adult offspring can continue to occupy a five bedroom house at his leisure."This site is addictive!"

i feel the same way aldi, ldil and netto have both definitely gone up in price. Its shocking how the prices go up and down. Right now i don't know where to shop because the massive differences. I went to the supermarket comparison site and was shocked to find sainsbugs the cheapest for flour etc. While morrisons for deli counter and asda for cat food.
Thats shocking elona, i'd kick off to. The whole point of no chain is that you are free to move in asap. I'm furious for you.
Well tax credits have been paid so put £200 in OH's account to cover car and diesel. Paid minimum amount on credits so were in the black again. Separated rent money too so at least thats safe for now.
Going tophone a taxi for us to the hospital as it cheaper than public transport. Shocking really, taxi's used to be more expensive. Just wish i was able to walk there, then it would save me a fortune:(.0 -

I shop at lidls most months and find on grocery items they sometimes more pricey than value ranges at bigger supermarks so its best to compare. Our 2nearest lidls re opposite sainsburys or next to morrisions so able to make comparision.
I think aldis similar pricing sometimes more but dont go as bit out of our way.
I rate aldis and lidls for booze, fruit and veg plus some cheeses.
Went to morrisions otherday brought value tomatoes and passata there as cheaper than lidls.
Farmfoods much cheaper on milk, bread and sugar.
Crickett do hope your dad gets better.

Crickett do hope your dad gets better. I too agree that Aldi and Lidi are expensive. I have Morrisons, Sainsburys, Tescos and Asda and Farmfoods close by so I am very lucky. The cereals seam in Aldi quite good prices until you see the ones in Asda 2 for £2 with more weight in them. Bread and Milk are from Farmfoods in our house and we use lots. I cleaned out my 'larger' wardrobe this weekened and pot all my old clothes out for the Salvation Army to collect today. The mans just knocked my door asking if all the bags are for him as theres so many. Im glad they can help someone
DD is at dance week this week so its just myself and DS for lunch
Wishing you all a lovely MondayMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
