morning has broken and the suns shining!!!!!!!
The cats have escaped but its all good.
Morning, well i slept all night yay! No itchiness, no struggling to lay with the cast. Instead i woke up this morning going ow i can't get, i woke up flat on my stomach. My OH shook his head at me and laughed.
The skin is all dry and where the cast has been so going to put some olive oil on it then go in the bath. I didn't go in last night as my OH had to go rescue his mates off the climbing wall.
Guess what i can walk without a crutch in the house :j:j:j, it may only be a metre between the kettle and the table but i'm a happy bunny.
Might go bramble picking later, if i'm feeling up to it.
Thanks for the link northwest will try that later0 -

gaily i also use plain flour to make flat bread, nanns, chappati's, flocacia, bread buns and loaves. Makes no real difference in taste. I also for a fact this is what restaurants and takeawys use as i used to work in them. So plain four all the way for me.
chappatis are basically plain flour, enough cold water to bind, bit of salt, mix together. Roll out the bread and place in a frying pan lightly sprinkled with oil. Keep turning to make sure both sides are done.
They cooked when the sides have brown flecked bits on them. I make them quite a lot and now i have bought a tawa a traditional indian/pakistani bread fryer. Cost £8 very big, cast iron and its brilliant.0 -
Hi Gailey - do you have a recipe for your chilli sauce? We had pittas with felafel last weekend and some proper chilli sauce would have been great. We ended up with sweet chilli which we had in the fridge with was okay but not as good.Old-Style Enthusiast :j0

katiegizmo - so pleased about your good news. All of us who've been in your situation will know what a huge relief you must be experiencing. And now you're coming out the other side, even the worry of it all has proved a positive thing if you're changing tactics in terms of the way you live and plan for the future. Good luck and hope all goes well for you.0

Thanks Primrose! I feel like a different person, I'm remembering what it's like not to be tense (well not as tense anyway!)
I've already battled with OH about keeping frugal - he's been off to B&Q or Homebase this morning and bought a load of cement and polyfiller etc, man things. While we do need it, we dont urgently need it so I would have rather waited and shopped around or found some vouchers etc... plus he put it on the credit card and I wanted to use cash this month... I'm aware of the fact that he hasnt actually got any money in his account yet, it could be a disasterous job and not work out, so I don't want to spend any money we haven't got yet!
On a lighter note, he made me happy as he's just told me that next door's blackberry bush which encroaches over to our front garden and wasn't fruiting last year is now fruiting! yay, more blackberries!!:T
thank s for the recipes Kezlou, I'm going to try the vegetable samosas i think.... yummmmmm!MFW 2015 so far..... £1808.702014 - £1451 2013 - £1600 2012 - £4145 2011 - £5715 2010 - £3258:)

Hello peeps!
Have had my head down in numbers all blinking day so far and my head is spinning. I have another 4.5 to 5 hours of it this afternoon and then I am doing a supermarket run for the week's food. I am not sure which supermarket to use this week. I am balancing speed round the shop with price. I am thinking Mr T might get my business, or Mr M if I fancy a change of scenery. Will decide when I leave work I think.
Right, back to the number crunching...!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440
