Is it possible to get refered to Citizens Advice Bureau as it would be difficult for me to wait outside their building just to be sent back as they only see the first 10 or so and the rest are sent back

As I said earlier in the thread, there should be a social worker attached to your GP surgery and they may well be able to help with a referral to CAB or another source of support such as Mind.

Call the surgery first thing as otherwise you will have no choice but to queue outside the CAB. Could you not get there half hour before opening and be one of the first in the queue?

ESA Headache - I'm sorry you've had such a rough weekend. As DMG has said - you really need to get to your GP tomorrow and make sure that your health is taken care of - get that taken care of, and you'll be in a much stronger position to deal with your tribunal as well.

I'm a little confused though - as your title of this thread states 'suicidal', and you seem to be saying that you have taken an overdose of meds during a panic attack - not aware of what you are doing? The first act is intentional - the second is accidental, through being unaware of your surroundings at the time. If you truly are feeling as though you want to harm yourself - please do not rely on the people here to get you through this as you need professional assistance for that. Please make sure that you have the phone number for the Samaritans copied out and kept by your phone. As for the meds, do you have anybody who can assist you with the meds, making sure that you only have on you what you need? You are trying to get through this, but you need to take some proactive steps to get yourself on the way here. Hope you are feeling a bit better tonight and can get a good nights rest.

I don't think it's helpful to blame the benefits system for your OD tbh - you are an adult and ultimately decide how you respond to problems.

But maybe you should call the crisis team?

Or your GP out of hours service and ask them to refer you tonight?

This link has been a help to me in the past as well:

If you are only a few pence overdrawn and it isn't a regular occurrence, you can call the bank tomorrow and they may well reverse the charges.
