New quick vote:

3 new quick votes this morning:;)
'Do you currently listen to any of the following radio stations?'
'Which of the following have you eaten in the past three months?'
'Have you taken/or are you considering a holiday to French Polynesia?''Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
The only reason I mentioned the translation site was that across might not have wanted someone else reading their mail. You made a very kind offer Droopsnout but isn't it always good to have alternatives?0

And for ever 2,667 Quick Votes I complete I can order a £10 Amazon voucher that takes forever to arrive, and may not be valid anyway.
Looks like a bit of exposure from MSE has been instrumental in getting Lightspeed to get their act together - perhaps Test & Vote will be next on the list?0 -
Hi workshop,
I was only trying to let people know of the new quick votes - nothing more.:)
I agree with you - Test&Vote can be awful. I'm still waiting for my £10 Amazon voucher (ordered it 2 or 3 weeks ago), but for personal reasons I won't be able to chase this up until the end of next week. I suppose at first they'll email me the same reply re Amazon vouchers not being offered anymore etc. etc. Of course, we MSErs can also try to do something about this, like we did with Lightspeed.;)
Edna_Bucket has written a very useful post the other day on this thread, on the issue of how to get your points/vouchers from Test&Vote - you may want to have a look at it.;)
EDIT: Just checked, it's post 396.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
I have tried to do about 5 test and vote surveys this week and all have failed because im dont meet their requirements. Im 23, male and living in the midlands. Are there any people with stats that get the most points?0

My apologies to you MBN - I wasn't having a go at you. I always do the quick votes, in the hope that more surveys come my way. Whilst each quick vote in itself brings little in the way of reward, the points do accumulate and may just get me through each 40,000 point barrier a little sooner. I've had one Amazon voucher so far (ordered 18th July, received 17th August) with two more to come (ordered 8th and 17th August - so one overdue, one almost overdue).
My intention was to put them all towards a special purchase, so I've not tried to "spend" the first one yet. I have read on this forum that some people have had problems "spending" them.
I suppose my main gripe with T&V is the length of time they take to add points after a survey is done. I always keep the invitation e-mail and chase them up after six to eight weeks. Sometimes a second chasing has been required.
Thanks for the pointer to Edna_Bucket's post - I'll read it now.0 -
