You need 60000 points to get anything decent now (hmv vouchers etc..) Surveys are worth around 5000 on average although some are worth a lot more. However, points are not always credited and plus, as yet, I have not received my e-voucher I claimed a month ago. A lot of people are having problems with these guys and I for one will leave the panel once I get my voucher.
A piece of advice though: probably best to keep your account open with them until you get your cashback although it may not be worth doing the surveys as T&S are a lot of hassle. :mad:0 -

Yes, my experience also. Most of us are only hanging with this bunch of losers because we are so close to making a final claim. Every few months they move the goalposts to make it harder to get a reward. Can't believe that when I first joined you could get a £10 Amazon voucher for just 20,000 points, then it became 40,000, now you can only get HMV and they cost 60,000. Unbelievable really, so many months work for one lousy CD.0 -
I contacted them earlier today about a missing HMV voucher, and much to my surprise had a reply pretty much straight away:
Dear member,
Thank you for your email. Usually you should receive the voucher within a month from ordering it, but unfortunately our order with HMV has been delayed due to the Christmas rush. Therefore we are unfortunately not expecting the vouchers until a while into January. We will of course send out the vouchers as soon as we receive them from HMV. I’m sorry for the delay.
Best regards,

Seems like we'll be waiting a bit longer :rolleyes:0 -
Christmas rush?
They put the price up to 60,000 points and experienced a Christmas rush? Christmas trickle, more like!

True enough, but just to clarify it is now a £15 HMV e-voucher for 60,000 points, not a £10 one (or you can have a £12 Halfords one also for 60,000 which seems a little bizarre.)
Either way, it does mean that it takes longer before they have to give any out...0 -
Some proof that our lack of response to their surveys may be having an effect.....
On Wednesday 27th received two separate emails inviting me to surveys. One was for 13.500 points and one for 15,000 points. Survey closing date was given as 29/12/2006 (or as soon as we have the number of respondents that we are looking for).
Received exactly the same emails again tonight, this time the closing dates had been revised to 31/12/06!!
Obviously T&V are not receiving the number of respondents they are looking for.....
On a positive note, with people leaving T&V in droves, does that leave the rest of us poor mortals with a halfway decent chance of winning iTunes vouchers or something in the Christmas Draw due to dwindling numbers?? I did actually win an iTunes voucher once, but that was back when they were only £5 vouchers and easier to win!0 -
Dunno if there is anyone still left on this forum (or if Test & Vote still has any members left apart from me! :rotfl: ) but just in case there are, may I be the first to wish you all a Happy New Year!
My ID over at T&V is newjanet, and if anyone could spare the time over the nest few days to check out an opinion I wrote tonight (probably won't appear until tomorrow) then it's listed under Opinion/Finance/Banking/Banks&Building Societies/Bank of Scotland. If it's still not there, please take the chance to read some of my other opinions if you can. Every positive vote gets me nearer to 40,000 and cashing out to ipoints (only thing I can now afford  ) and then I can resign and leave this wretched little site for good.
Many, many thanks to all who have contributed to this thread and read my ops in the past. If you still need points and want to leave a note of any opinions you have written yourself, I'll gladly return the favour. There are now lots of new categories which have been added recetly, so as a previous poster mentioned, this is probably the best way to accumulating additional points to cashout now.
PS would the last person to leave Test and Vote please put the lights out....thanks! :rolleyes:0 -
