I contacted them earlier today about a missing HMV voucher, and much to my surprise had a reply pretty much straight away:

    Dear member,

Thank you for your email. Usually you should receive the voucher within a month from ordering it, but unfortunately our order with HMV has been delayed due to the Christmas rush. Therefore we are unfortunately not expecting the vouchers until a while into January. We will of course send out the vouchers as soon as we receive them from HMV. I’m sorry for the delay.

    Best regards,

Seems like we'll be waiting a bit longer

'a while into January' ?!!!! That sounds like a crock of smelly stuff..... been waiting well over a month now and not convinced I'll ever see mine.

It's a salad made from crushed bulgur wheat, and it's very nice, fresh-tasting, quite an unusual flavour.

Presumably the part they want us to test is the wheat and not the saladly bits (can't see them travelling through the post!).Let's hope they don't expect us to return it once tested like they did the lip balm! <gulp!>

Go checkout my review on V The Mini Series. Look under the 'Opinion' tab then 'Television' then 'Sci-Fi Fantasy' then 'V The Series'. Mine is the opinion by 'newjanet'. If you click on my name it will give you all the othe opinions I have written to. Each time you rate the opinion I will get 10 points. If you also rate the other V opinion which is by 'shad0w' you will do another reader on here a big favour too! :T

Once you have read and rated all our opinions write and submit some of your own. You should get 100 points per opinion within 24 hours. Come on here and tell us what they are and we will read and rate them and you will get even more points.
Also I have never been picked to test anything although I do register everytime can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong

You don't picked very often although I got to test a teabag once, so it DOES happen! :rotfl:

Yeah, and you can still buy tickets for it too I notice. Isn't that illegal under the Lotteries and Amusements Act ???

    Dear member,

Thank you for your email. The reason you can’t find information about this is that the draw has been delayed until the 15th of January, so you still have almost two weeks to buy tickets for the draw. If you’re one of the lucky winners we will contact you after the draw to verify address etc. for the delivery. Good luck!

Many thanks - have returned the favour!

Anyone else who wants to get their points up, if you go rate my ops I will return the favour - if you have written more ops than me you will gain out of it as you get 10 points each time one is read. My username at T&V is newjanet - please don't go rate ops by 'fallen121' as it isn't me

You now need to hope they don't monitor MSE
What is the exchange of votes?
The exchange of votes consists of an agreement with another member of ToLuna so as to exchange pertinent votes. This non-authorized practice is punished by the withdrawal of the gained points.

That would be hard for them to prove.
It is their decision to give a name under each review heading and I do read and rate other reviews by the same author because that author writes good and relevant reviews.
Given the number of reviews on there,it is going to happen that 2 people rate each others reviews. :P

Let me see. Here we have a site who:
Got members to to complete surveys in exchange for points which rarely if never materialised
Exchanged points for Amazon voucher codes which either didn't work or never arrived
Removed Amazon vouchers (their most popular reward) with a load of more expensive rewards
Constantly raised the threshold for claiming rewards so that it is now extremely rare to find anyone who has managed to accumulate enough points to redeem
Removed the 75 points for test registration on the grounds that they would be offering more expensive rewards such as TVs and DVD players - then offered tests for such exotic and expensive items as a car air freshener, smarties, some stickers, a toothbrush, mini highlighters, a razor and a coffee filter
Have been promising a free Sudoku on the site for at least a year now with no sign of it ever materialising
Have 'exceptionally extended their 'Christmas' Prize Draw until 15th January (presumably because they can't afford to buy any of the promised prizes)

All this - and we are expected to be concerned about possible suspension of our account? The most I am EVER going to be able to exchange my points for is 120 ipoints which is worth in real terms about £5.00

Waggle your finger all you want - I have about as much expectation of them coming on MSE and finding this forum as I do of winning the lottery tonight.
