Could this be fraud

This is the problem- they'll bleeding laugh at me if I say I suspect it from face book- would they be able to get a history of deleted posts?0

Where is the fraud? Is she claiming IS as a single parent? Maybe you could speak to her to ensure that she has also filed for CSA - maybe invite her over to help her fill out the paperwork or something? Facebook is a very public place, and I would be more concerned about someone discussing their marital problems on there, than someone pretending all is fine and then all of a sudden single. Making it appear to outsiders of the marriage that all is okay I think is normal for a lot of women, but if it's really not, then that would explain the 'suddenly single' and removal of all the 'happy posts'.
Possibly Anxiousmum . this is why I'm asking as never come across anything like this before. There is nofraud but remember I know this girl, her family, her husband. I know the history.
And do/did really like the girl/ lady but would have to question not reporting anyone , sorry, my values.
Sorry editing again- top paragraph is a quote- will learn how to do it.
Reading the thread i still havent figured out where fraud is as no one has mentioned anything about benefits being claimed???0 -

The facebook status was- I am now separated- I am ringing tax credits and going to ssafa tomorrow? is that right? to get them to help me get a house to rent in X and see what else I can claim.
Not word for word but this is the gist0 -
Juicy - if you were having a hard time in your marriage, would you plaster it all over facebook for one and all to see? If you were young with two young children, would you hang on to the hope that all would be well, and put on the happy face? Many, if not most, young women would. But, when you realise it's over, well, it's over! I don't see anything to insinuate that there is fraud of any kind going on other than gut feeling, and unfortunately somebody isn't guilty of fraud over gut feeling. Personally, I think that the girl is probably having a rough time as it is if she's just split from her husband with two young children, and even though an investigation would be fine if nothing was going on, would it really do her situation any good? You could very well be right - as you say, you know the family, the history etc., but wait until you have some actual proof that she is commiting benefit fraud before making it worse for her.0

Please don't be patronising- we will see
Like I say- I know the whole picture- X was contacting me last week wanting to rent rooms in my house so Xhub could come visit her and family at weekends.
Very very strange
And yes I do get very lonely as a single parent and post on websites myself:)0 -
1st anniversary was last month- lots of lovely pics- in short up until yesterday no indication of problem with marriage. Lots of lovely family photos recently. Also lots of 'I am depressed', even asking if she and girls could come stay with me, etc etc.
Yesterday suddenly she is single, separated and looking for a house back here- but has also removed lots of comments from FB.
Today posted she could not go to friends for brew as X (husb) finished work at 5- now call me a cynic- and I am the most naive person going- but I really smell a rat.
A lot can change in one month. And she could just be staying at his until she finds somewher suitable for her and the children?Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Get all the money you can i say:p. there are more crooks in the house of commons than in the prison system. live and let live.
And leave the girl alone
I came on here with a valid worry- why does this person try to make it a joke
Do not agree by the way- live and let live means get on with your own life as long as you are not taking away from others:A0
