Could this be fraud

I feel rubbish posting this but my conscience is bothering me.
A long ago friend of my son - I think she 24 now- is a friend of mine on Facebook. We were very close a few years back and she is a lovely girl but..
Long story short- has 2 children by different fathers- split up with father of child 1 then got back with and married him after child 2- last year.
Husband is in the army, and X is from my hometown, and has been complaining on FB that she is homesick, as now lives on army barracks.
1st anniversary was last month- lots of lovely pics- in short up until yesterday no indication of problem with marriage. Lots of lovely family photos recently. Also lots of 'I am depressed', even asking if she and girls could come stay with me, etc etc.
Yesterday suddenly she is single, separated and looking for a house back here- but has also removed lots of comments from FB.
Today posted she could not go to friends for brew as X (husb) finished work at 5- now call me a cynic- and I am the most naive person going- but I really smell a rat.
Please tell me if I'm just down and seeing things not there or has someone had a 'good idea'?
My point was, sorry, that they are both from this town and visit a lot so looks to me like she wants to come back here and he work whenever and visit when he can then they miraculously get back together- pleas tell me I'm wrong thinking this

Nope, sounds like fraud to me.0

it's just the sudden change that made this my first instinct
Hell now what to do? Well the obvious, but this is a small town and already in enough trouble for not being able to keep my trap shut! Lol0 -
Yes,deffo fraud, a friend of mine did the exact same thing.A girl she does not like has reported her, and then she wanted sympathy from me !!!! i dont think so!0

Where is the fraud? Is she claiming IS as a single parent? Maybe you could speak to her to ensure that she has also filed for CSA - maybe invite her over to help her fill out the paperwork or something? Facebook is a very public place, and I would be more concerned about someone discussing their marital problems on there, than someone pretending all is fine and then all of a sudden single. Making it appear to outsiders of the marriage that all is okay I think is normal for alot of women, but if it's really not, then that would explain the 'suddenly single' and removal of all the 'happy posts'.0

You can report any suspicions of fraud anonymously online. The DWP will investigate, if there is no fraud, then no problem. If there is, then they will uncover it and take action. Seems reasonably straight forward to me.0 -
Have a life and a nose thank you.0

Possibly Anxiousmum . this is why I'm asking as never come across anything like this before. There is nofraud but remember I know this girl, her family, her husband. I know the history.
And do/did really like the girl/ lady but would have to question not reporting anyone , sorry, my values.
Sorry editing again- top paragraph is a quote- will learn how to do it.0 -
I wouldn't have any hesitation in reporting anybody for benefit fraud either Juicyloo - none whatsoever. But I wouldn't do it based on facebook posts saying that she is suddenly single and no further information.0

You're right Am that hits me spot on, but you know when you have a 'feeling' and it is the posts from yesterday she deleted not things about their marriage etc- just came very, very suddenly and as a complete change of direction almost.0
