Mine was on "awaiting security check" last night, now it's on back order again.

All those who have received their TV's - go and thank the OP, he has only 7 TY's and he has shown us a great bargain (when we get it LOL).

I checked my emails yesterday and status said "Awaiting store pickup"
Cool, so I went and picked it up today
Now just have to find a stand. Its quite wide and a 32"inch stand (chrome/black glass) I saw in tesco at just under £80, well the width and the tele stand are about the same, so something to consider. The 42" stand is just too big!

Picture quality aint as good as it was when I saw it in woolies, perhaps this is because I am running it through a analogue cable box.

I tried connecting DVD player and picture quality was terrible! plus no sound and ive tried the different av settings etc.

Regarding the picture quality, Im sure its just my settings, Ive been thru a lot of them but cant find a top quality pic as yet.
Oh well, cant really complain at £380 (£20 from quidco)

Paid with my connect card so I get another 2 yrs free warranty.

Perhaps when I come into shedloads of money, I'll buy a nice plasma

Has anyone got a picture of what the Technosonic silver model looks like?
The pic in the Big Red Book looks nice, but I've a sneaky suspicion that it'll not look like that in real life! Does it have a black border around the screen with silver speakers to the sides, and a rectangular base rather than oval? :think:

I don't think that the Woolies Technosonic model has this.
It means that the TV can pick up Freeview channels without a separate Freeview box.

If it had this it would likely be listed as "DV3"

This model indeed does NOT have an integrated freeview tuner.
