ordered mine on 1st october in store chatham rang on the 20th october as bloke who served us said it be in then to find out it was not spoke to sumone they said 25th they are in but had no emial or txt yet to let me know so may ring them tonight i want my tv sob sob

Wonder if you guys can help me.

I have just had this tv delivered and messed about with it for a bit.

I have been using the AV2 as my output of audio to my stereo. So I plugged my telewest scart into av1 and turned everthing on and it was fine apart from a millisecond delay of audio between the tv and stereo. Anyways I then setup up my 360 using the composite thing HD av cable (5 or 6 connectors) and it loaded up fine but the audio only came from the tv and not from my stereo. This is annoying as this is my main DVD player and i wanna get sound coming from both my tv and stereo when using Telewest, 360 and my pc when its connected. There are numerous connections at the back.

So what i am askin is whats my best option do i need extra cables? Will I have to bite the bullet and get a 5.1 surround system?

I would rather NOT go down that route of a sperate sound system but if its the only option then I will go for it.

As a heads up those still waitng for the telly (me included).

An assistant in one of the many stores that I keep ringing, told me that they are expecting 10,000 to be distributed between all the stores in the country at the begining of November.

Whether this actually happens is a different matter.

Looks good but it always amazes me why they still sell tv's with analogue tuners particularly as they look worse on a lcd than a conventional crt.

For the sake of a few quid that probably all it costs companies to put a digital tuner in it would be so much better.

I am on the look out for a larger tv myself 32"+ for our new house but can wait a little longer as we are still looking I always wanted a bigger tv which isn't easy in a small house.

my local store assistant told me that they wont be here for another 2 weeks- hope we will all get our tv sooon.

Do you have more than one spare connection point on your stereo and, if so, does the 360 have an audio output from which you could connect it and your stereo?

No my stereo only has one input for aux and the cable that I use for the 360 ooutputs video and sound via one cable

Which is annoying

Any other ideas?

just spoke to my woolworths they told me its still not there but the lifts have been broken but its been dispatched so should be there 2mor they hope

It arrived yesterday.......i just called in on the off chance.My online still says awaiting despatch......lol
Its an amazing set......the sticker came straight off the remote.Its a thomson with thomson batts.Its beautiful and the tv bargain of the year.I felt sorry for my friend.He called in the Blackpool branch.They had one in the back...they said it was allocated to someone else who was further down the list than him!He went mental..i hope he gets his.
