Morning all, Tigz and her dd are coming over today which I'm looking forward to, haven't seen them for ages, we'll go for a walk down the beach and have a gossip

I'm spending the next hour or so with my fingers in my ears going la-la-la ... trying to avoid the temptation of getting Take That tickets
I really would love to go but can't justify the cost (cheapest tickets in the back of Wmbley = £60, plus cost of getting there/back approx £30 in petrol, plus tube ticket from outer london, clearly looking at £100+), so I'm going to give it a miss but I really really want to go
I will wait until its out on dvd and treat myself to that, nowhere near the same but I have seen Take That and Robbie both at Milton Keyenes before and they were both amazing

I really want to go too, but for the same reasons as you I won't be. I've tried getting onto the website but they've crashed!!
I forgot I've got a man coming round this morning to paint my ceiling, he said this morning and he was here at 8.30 Wed morn so I assumed he'd be here by now, but he isn't!! I haven't had a shower yet as didn't want to miss him... I'll text when we're on our way. xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Good news on the immersion heater! Hope it doesn't cost too much for you. Struggling to get on f/book at the moment as we are away for a couple of days and having trouble loading it - just glad I can get on here!!! Hope you have a good day, Lucy0

and I'm clicking refresh like a million other TT nutters all over the country after all

...
I've also just done the free bet from one of the offers I did which should bring me in a profit of £21.50, which means that added to the £9.50 from the other day (£31), means I now need to find another £33 for the mortgage pot and £100 for the holiday fund. I had another thought last night, next month I will get 2 lots of child benefit as its paid every 28 days and next month I will get a payment at the beginning of the month and another before the end of the month, so thats an extra £85 which will either go towards christmas or could go into the holiday pot or could pay the plumber

Gald to have helped Hypno, see I knew your mobile number would come in handy

Today has been a great day, am so pleased I got the tickets, I ended up with two and have arranged to go with a friend from where I used to live, I haven't seen her since I moved down here and I can crash at hers afterwards too so I don't need to worry about getting home either :T
Tigz and her dd came over and we had a lovely afternoon down the beach and then watching some trains
and then tonight another friend popped in for an hour for a gossip, so all in all its been a really nice day
Can't believe we're back at school in a couple of days
