  • Benben do you think all this with his dad could be affecting DS's behaviour at school?

Yes I do KM, and I have kept the school informed of everything thats gone on so they are fully aware of the situation. He is no angel and I'm under no illusions with that, I'm not one of these parents that think the sun shines out of their child, I know his faults, I know he struggles behaviourally, but even so, I would expect something positive to be said, even if it was chucked in alongside lots of negatives, its standard practice at school and at every job I've ever had appraisals in etc to make sure theres a positive in there too!

He sees a pastoral worked once a week for a half hour session, he loves it, this has been ongoing for about 18 months now, he enjoys it but it doesn't seem to be achieving a great deal :o

I'm home!! We've had a lovely weekend in Devon but had to return first thing this morning as ds was sicky :o He was sick during the night and slept most of the journey home, and is now curled up on the sofa in his pj's :)

Today is a strange day for me, stuff is happening today ...

Other than that, we I'll be indoors for the rest of the day I'm planning on some housework, a nice bath, some finance sorting and a bit of pottering ;)

Glad you had a good time in Devon, but sorry to hear ds is poorly.
Sounds interesting about it being a strange day - look forward to hearing more later (if you are allowed to say).

I'm not sure what I can say Dangers, but basically things are moving forward at last, and soon, possibly next week, it could all be over :)

I realised today too that my 101 challenge starts a week today, so I really need to find the last 15 things to add to my list :o I've had a bath but my throat is feeling quite yucky tonight, so I think we will both be off for an early night tonight.

My Jamie at Home stuff was delivered today too, theres tonnes of it (I have to hand it out to my guests that bought stuff), so my hall is currently full of kitchen stuff :D

Morning all, ds had a good nights sleep and seems right as rain this morning :) I however feel as if someone slashed my throat in the night  My throat has always been my weak spot and I used to suffer really badly with tonsilitis, I've already sprayed laods of dequaspray all over my throat so am hoping I can kill it before it takes hold.

The weather today is supposed to be pants and it ha already got off to a miserable start, so I think today could well be an indoor day, maybe doing our shoeboxes or christmas cards, or making some cakes. I must also check the finances as I didn't get that done last night. Have a good day all!
