Having looked back on the diary I have spent way too much on snacks/lunches at school this month, so that is going to be one area I really focus on this month, I can't afford to eat at school and the food there is pretty revolting anyway, so I need to get back into the habit of taking it with me

I don't have much in the budget for unexpected expenses, and this month I have bought several bits that weren't necessary, such as the Jamie at home stuff. Nice stuff, and nice to treat myself to, but not in the budget
Next month I will be stricter. I also need to look for more money making things, the matched betting offers are few and far between at the moment and there isn't much else around either. I do have a few bits on quidco that will hopefully pay out soon, but can't rely on it being before christmas  Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

Just when I thought ds had decided on his christmas list, he's changed his mind
He's decided (after the weekend in Devon) that he wants a Wii. Even though this is more than I want to spend I actually think it makes more sense than the Hornby tbh, at least it doesn't take up much space and is something that can be added to. He is aware that he would have time limits on it. So now i need to start looking around for good deals. I know Argos are starting their offer tomorrow with vouchers, tesco are redoing tehir double up offer in November but I dont think this would include consoles. Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

There are some really good deals on Wiis about this year - with your usual savvy homework you should be able to pick up a good deal.

Morning all
Today we're going to do our Christmas cards and shoeboxes, then go for a nice walk later on and maybe make some cakes. It needs to be another cheap day, can't wait for payday tomorrow! A bit more pottering indoors will be nice too.
I can't believe its thursday already, this week is flying by! I also need to get my 101 list finished soon, it starts officially on tuesday so I need to make sure I've got to 101 challenges and that I'm happy with them all and ready to go

Ds has decided he's happy playing with his toys this morning so I'm going to have a couple of hours looking at the betting, seeing if theres any new offers or bookies I can sign up with

I've signed up with two new bookies and done a couple of qualifying bets, hopefully by the weekend they will be completed and a few more pennies added to the pot.
I need to find (assuming maintenance is paid in November and December), £64 for the mortgage pot and £100 for the holiday fund. £9.50 last night was made towards this, so £154.50 to go. Once I've reached this target then I will use any extra towards xmas, and if theres anything wlse left after that (very unlikely me thinks) then that will go into the mortgage pot. Hopefully by the end of next week I shall know if Novembers maintenance is going to come through.Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

How will you be informed about the money (good or otherwise)? Will it be from the Csa or from other means?0
-
It will all become clear depending on the outcome of other bits Dangers, sorry if that sounds a bit cryptic, I will catch you on f/b later and explain

Plumber has been and I had a faulty switch on the immersion heater that has a loose connection and was burned out  He's changed it for me and said he can put a timer switch on thee instead if I want (I'd love one, it drives me nuts that I can't programme my hot water), so he'll stick it all on the same bill, but am guessing it shouldn't be too huge a cost, and will make such a difference (I'll finally be able to have a shower in the mornings :j
).
Off to get ds tea then going to have a lovely HOT bath
Tigz, let me know what you want to do tomorrow, are you getting TT tickets in the morning? I don't mind at all what we do / what time, ds has to go to his dads at 6 but other than that I'm easy
