    The other free bet has settled and has made me £25 profit :D This now means that this year I still need to find;
    • £100 for the holiday fund
    • £3 for the mortgage pot ;)
    • £65 for the take that ticket
    • the plumber
I have two months to find this money, as well as £85 from the child benefit extra payment. I will use that for the TT ticket, and the extra £20 of it can go towards the plumber.

    So,

    £100 - holiday fund
    £3 - mortgage pot
    [STRIKE] £65 Take That [/STRIKE]
The Plumber (£20 in the pot)
    Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
    Mortgage Overpayments Pot £1587

Back from tescos and somehow I managed to spend £69  I'm still not sure what went wrong really, I didn't go particularly mad in there, I did buy a few bits that weren't strictly necessary (simple moisturiser and wipes) but they were on buy one get two free, and they are things that I use anyway, so will save me money in the long run, but other than that there was nothing majorly different to normal :o Means I need to be very careful now with the rest of the food budget (normally £50 a week).

The rest of today involves a trip to the library to return a book, some housework, cleaning the guinea pigs, a bath and then off to see fireworks tonight :)

Just completed a survey which has meant I can get £3 sent to my paypal account, so ...

    £100 - holiday fund
    [STRIKE]£3 - mortgage pot[/STRIKE]
£65 Take That don't know why the line thru this has disappeared :(
The Plumber (£20 in the pot)

So, thats the mortgage pot sorted, unofficially, now I need to work on the holiday fund, some more for the plumber (no idea how much), and then some more towards christmas, as already I've spent more on ds than I had planned to, so I need to claw some back elsewhere.

The mortgage pot is done now as far as I'm concerned, obviously if I get my maintenance in november and December then it will be truly where I want it to be, but if I don't get it then it will have to remain as it is. If I can get all the other bits above sorted then the mortgage pot will be the next priority, but right now I want to focus on the bits above first :)

Glad to be of service, I think that deserves your other TT ticket?? :p

They look really good, they had lots on the shelf today but I don't think they will hang around at that price!

Evening all, we went to a firework event with a take that tribute band ... it was hilarious; the 'Gary Barlow' was actually quite good, but as for the others, well we spent most of the time trying to decide which was which :o :rotfl: and it wasn't until they introduced themselves half way through that we realised we were all wrong and Howard was in fact Mark :o:o It was very entertaining though, mainly because of the naffness of it, their timing on the dancing was pitiful, it genuinely seemed like the Gary bloke had rounded up a few of his mates and practised in their bedroom for a couple of hours, but it made for a very funny night :D The fireworks were fabulous and all in all it was a really lovely night with great mates :T
