Okay further investigation has meant I'm gonna skip the Alli, I really don'y like the look of the side effects   and it is pretty expensive too. So, instead I have altered the plan slightly; I was sent a £5 Amazon voucher today for a survey I did a couple of weeks ago, and I have sopent it ona copy of the good old Shred
When I did it in the summer I rented it from Blaockbusters. This time I am going to rely on that and my Davina dvd to get me through the winter, with the odd decent walk thrown in for good measure, but what with the cold dark nights I figured I'd need something more indoors based
So, back to the old WW points and exercise dvds
Its no good keep meaning to do something about it, I just need to get on with it and stop faffing really

The wonderful world of shred
I think it will be a better investment than those tablets. Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Benben would the discipline of a WW class help?0

I do find it easier with a ww class, but the only one I can get to (and stay after the weigh in) doesnt finish til 7.30 and ds will fidget
I have been before just for the weigh in but resent paying a fiver just to be told how fat I am

Evening all, you know how I've often said mine and Hypnos lives seem to mirror each others .. .well my boiler seems to have packed up today
I don't have central heating just an emersion heater for the hot water, and when I got in I switched it on for a bath but it is still cold
Why does this only happen when the weathers rubbish and everyone will be calling out plumbers to fix boilers that haven't been on all summer?? Grrr ....
Other than that ... ds decided to tell his dad tonight that he doesn't want to go and visit on halloween weekend  Cue daddy not being happy and telling ds to ask if he can go during half-term week instead. I said no as we already have made plans (which I have), but he didn't like this either. All of this is relayed through ds as we aren't allowed to speak to each other, and I hate ds having to pass on the messages so I left it by saying that I'll speak to ds and sort something out. I'm not sure why he suddenly doesn't want to go, thats the weekend I'm hoping to meet up with sailorman, but we shall see now what happens
Today I've spent about £3 on lunch, I also had a phonecall from ds swimming to say that theres a gap in the next group now so he can move up after half-term :j It will still be on a tuesday too which is good news as that fits in well for us.
Off now to boil the kettle several times and wash my hair with a bowlful of water :cool:Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

Just managed a lukewarm bath, I think there might be an airlock somewhere as I also have a heated towel radiator thing and that is only lukewarm too  I have no idea how to fix it, I was okay at bleeding radiators but theres nowhere on this to do that and I can't see anything on the emersion either
Another of those times when a bloke would come in handy

Aagh ... stroppy Benben alert!!
Just had another lukewarm bath, really not sure whats going on with it, there is no temperature gauge on the emersion but there has to be a thermostat somewhere but I can't see one
Parents evening tonight didn't go too well, in fact he struggled to say anything positive at all
Turns out the reward chart that ds has been telling me he's getting full marks in has actually been the opposite and he's hardly taken any notice of it and doesn't seem motivated by it. He has it seems developed his father ability to lie to me convincingly though, and has been telling me what he thought I'd like to hear rather than the truth
This bit upset me more than anything else ....
Basically the main problem is that he will not settle to his work and therefore they're having a continual battle to get him to do anything. He says he's bored and doesn't want to learn
AND THEN ... just to top off my rubbish evening, the council have turned up and are once again digging up the road with a pneumatic drill right outside my flat   They never bother to prewarn us they'll be doing this, so now ds can't sleep because of the noise :cool:Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000
