Morning all, shred is done, its definitely getting easier, 25 days to go though :o

No maintenance again today, tomorrows the last chance, if not I'll call them up and see whats going on ...

Sun is shining hee, I want to hit the beach but ds wants to do another bike ridr instead, guess that would be better for the body but reading a book on the sand seems so much nicer :)

  • Benben when you go out on bike rides how does DS cope with kerbs etc as he not that long ago learnt to ride? My little one has learnt to ride but I am not sure they/I would cope when they are on kerbs or near roads etc?

We mainly try and go in the forest where there are no cars KM, but if we're local then we just stick to back roads. Round here over 80% of the population are retired  so they tend to drive pretty carefully tbh, but some have pretty dodgy eyesight so do need to be careful ;) Lots of the little roads we go on we never come across anyone else. My nerves aren't ready for him doing proper roads yet :D

  • Oh good its not just me with the nerves then lol.. I would like a bike rack really so I can drive to cycle paths.

I hope the maintenance arrives soon, its ridiculous you have to wait like this!?

Thankyou KM, its bad enough waiting, but I don't even know if it will come at all, thats what makes it even more frustrating as it could send the budgets all skew-whiff again :o

But in better news, postie has just brought me my cheque for £20 from a world cup offer  Off to chuck it into the pot and adjust the signature ... I thought these forums were closed this morning anyway?

    Yay we're back :j :j

I was in the bath and my mobile rnag and it was the csa ... to say that they spoke to ex yesterday as the payment didn't go through and he has told them he'll do a transfer. They say I should get mymoney sometime next week or possibly the week after   They couldn't explain why the payment hasn't gone through so I don't know if his direct debit failed becuase of a lack of funds or whether they set it up wrong so maybe it wasn't his fault? Who knows?? Absolutely sick to death of this fiasco now, so *if* I get it it will almost be time to go back to school, summer holidays over, yeah great, thanks for your help csa, you've been stunning ;)

Okay todays plan is shaping up like this; we're going to have lunch and then head to the airport as there is a free aviation museum there where kids can ist in the cockpit, twiddle buttons etc ;) then the Red Arrows are due to land at 3.30pm (in for Cowes week on the IOW), so we'll see them (ds favourite thing after trains and buses :D), then we're going to go to a ski place near there and do ringos for half an hour (inflatable yellow tyres on a ski slope thing I think). They're £7 for half an hour or £13 for an hour  Think we'll go for half an hour today and see how we get on, ds hasn't done it before and may not be keen.
