Today we went to tescos this morning and spent £42 which isn't too bad as that includes all 3 boxes of ceral as they had all run out, and a huge jar of coffee, all of which will last longer than a week so quite pleased overall.

After lunch we have walked to the local train station and sat there for an hour watching trains, well ds watched them I read my book ;), before walking home again. We both had our 'Walk with me' measure things in our pockets and so far today I've done 7,500 steps and he's done 9,500 :j Mine doesn't include shred obviously, so overall am pleased with todays activity levels :D Other than tescos (which comes out of the food budget) today has been my second nsd of August too :T

Well I could see my afternoon being whiled away on here so decided we needed to go out :) We went up to the park, I took my book and ds played happily for an hour or so, then on the way back we popped into the hairdressers and I have booked an appointment for tomorrow afternoon for a full head of highlights and a cut and blow-dry ... no change from £100 but am looking forward to it and it desperately needs doing. I only have my hair done about twice a year so its not too bad really, friend has hers done every month and costs her £37 a month and she doesn't have any colour on it and hers is a short crop so grows out quickly.

Just off to get ds tea and then bathtime before a lazy evening :D

Ds is in bed and I'm mooching trying to decide on my new hair colour; I tend to always go for the same hairstyle now (type Kelly Clarkson into google, press images and scroll down to where it says page three and its the b/w onw on the second row), just need to decide whether i want to go really blonde again, mid brown with chunky highlights or stay brown :) Am tending towards blonde ...

Morning all, day 4 of shred is done :j I ached last night but was okay this morning so got up and got on with it, I make myself do it before I switch the laptop on as otherwise I would never get round to it ;) Scales are saying I've put a pound on this week though :o

No maintenance money in yet, the csa said they'd try and take it from his account on 1st and I should get it in a couple of days so thought it might arrive today, but no :o:o

So, today is haircut day, ds is going round to mums for the afternoon while I'm there. Not sure what else wew're doing yet though.
