You might already know about this competition - another daily Glamour mag one...I've only just seen it, so will hope for some lovely wins:beer:

Thanks for that Milly, the comping has gone off the boil again recently so thats a good one to get me focused again

KM, there is a part of me that wants to ring him and his mum and rant and rave at them but it wouldn't do any good; he'll promise its just a mistake and he's gonna pay it tomorrow blah blah blah ... heard it all before and don't need to hear it again  Also I think its better if I continue to have nothing to do with any of them; if in the future he ever fights for more access etc then surely it will go in my favour that I've never stopped him seeing him, even though he's put me through all this stuff with the police as well as not paying his maintenance ... I need to retain a dignified silence
I am going to re-read some of my earlier posts from last week when I felt really motivated again and get some va-va-voom back cos right now I'm eating chocolate and feeling stressed about it all again

Ah yes, dignified silence is required methinks. I am getting quite good at it, so if you want any tips :rotfl:

Okay tonight I have blitzed all the surveys in my inbox, am gradually getting closer to payout on a few but they are sooo dull

I've also caught up with a few friends on f/b
and another frined from the giol board has helped me with a couple of offers and I should have about £30 profit from those, but won't count it until tomorrow when we're done with one more offer

Morning all, no shred done here yet, ds is going out with mum and dad today so I will do it while he is out, will be a big test to see if I actually do get on with it during the day

Nothing new or unexpected in the banking today, I'm going to spend today doing some housework again, its relatively tidy but needs a damn good clean all through. I'm also still waiting to hear whether ds is going away this weekend, if he's not then theres more reason to get it done today, if he is then I can spread it out a bit over the weekend, although I should really get on with it today so I can do other stuff over the weekend like sorting the garage / trips to the tip / ebay etc. I would quite like to go to a car boot sale for shopping on sunday too, will see how much is in the budget in a minute too and work out how I'm doing so far this month, can't believe its only the 6th, feels much later in the month than that

Ds is going out at about 10 and I am going to stay away from the laptop from then until 12 when I'll have lunch. I''m going to give myself half an hour for my lunch break and I can mooch on here then, but after that its back to the housework again
I have to do it like this or I'll spend the whole time he's out just pootling on here and getting nothing much done

Just been reading back through my older posts and I have got stuff a litle straighter in my head; as frustrating as it is that ex hasn't paid the maintenance this month, it actually only means that my mortgage pot is affected. My day-to-day budgeting doesn't now include maintenance, so basically it means that the £1000 challenge I set myself may need to be lowered to £500 (assuming I dont get any this month). If it does arrive then the £1000 challenge is still on

That is a really positive way of looking at things.
Hope you have a productive morning.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Okay ds has gone with mum, so far already this morning I've done 2 loads of washing, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, made the beds, folded more stuff for ironing, generally rehomed lots of things in their reightufl places. Mainly now its just a thorough clean to be done as well as the dreaded shred. I was going to do it now but my neighbours downstairs have just got home so may wait and see if they go out again later

Oh, in other news, the friend from the giol board has messaged me to say that the other offer is now completed, one more will be finalised tonight but its looking now like £50 profit :j Am off to add it to the pot, maybe the £500 target isn't looking so mad after all

With regards to the ex asking for more access rights, one thing I'd suggest doing is keeping a diary of everything that happens along the way, i.e. missed visits, failed appointments etc. It might prove a valuable tool later on and you shouldn't rely on the memory as it will fail you when it matters (or is that just mine?
).
Seriously though, I applied for extra access and my solicitor suggested the diary idea. I appreciate it's slightly different as you are the PWC but the priniciple is the same and it is quite therapeutic writing (or typing) it down.0
