I was informed by the person from EON Fixonline9 was only available to existing customers, and as for loosing current discounts it depends when you had your last bill for me it was 26/6 when I was actually on holiday, so I'm really only losing the 20.2% for the last 3 weeks of low summer usage which can only be a discount of £10 or £15, seems a decent enough deal for myself to fix over the high winter usage and look again next year.

Does the EON Rep know when Fixonline9 tariff will be showing, because like Mrs Wenger said, it is currently not listed.

    Hi there

I'm also hoping our helpful EON rep will confirm Fixonline 9 details. It sounds quite good. After reading some tales about EDF I don't think I'll go to them. Hoping to stay with EON.
Am on the excellent Saveonline2 due to end 31st August.

I've just rang and asked about Fixed Online 9 and was told it's not been available for a long time.

Think I'll roll over onto the standard price until everyone's put their prices up. At least it'll be during the summer.

It is interesting that Carpetseller has been offered Fixed Online 9 as an existing customer and VT82 has been told it is no longer available.

Does anyone know if all offers are nationwide or by region please?

    Thanks,

    Tracey
  • Hi in another respect i an lookig for a fixed tarrif , like the look of e.on fixed price v5 tarrif , i no it capps rates for 2 years till july 2012, my question is i been told eon that its the only capped tarrif out there that does not have a cancellation fee , so if i left i dont get stung is that true ?/

as i dont want to to get stung unless i have to ?/

the reason i looked at it i was on b/gas fixed price till 2012 and had a letter 2 weeks ago saying my prices were not going up and yest received another letter saying that they are , i asked why ( after 20 min wait with b/gas ) and was told " yes the capped plans are also going up , i said i thought the idea to cap prices was ment to cap them, against price increases "

i asked if i left would i get a fee was told the words " we may apply a cancellation fee!!!!, i asked would i or not and was told the same again " will i get cahrged for leaving ?????

Of course capped tariffs can increase in price, they are capped above a certain limit, beyond which they will not rise.
You are confusing them with fixed rate tariffs, which will not increase above the advertised rate.

VT82 must have been given the wrong information I was immediately swapped to Fixonline9. Received the confirmation letter in the post this morning.

When you get a comparison and it says your savng wil be i.e

    -£100

watch of for this as what it is saying is that it is not a saving!

it is £100 more expensive that you are paying now.
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!

Can an Eon Company Representative please shed some light on this? I tried to send a PM but couldn't work out how to do it!
