    How patronizing.

Noting patronising at all about it...it's how I speak in day to day life but unless you have a super duper PC that can portray tone then you wouldn't know that.

    Useful contribution though

How many "Young" do you know who have a full time job and fully support themselves ?

I can answer that - my son and daughter. My son got an apprenticeship with Honda as an (apprentice) parts advisor. Worked from 9-5 Monday to Friday and also studied at the same time.

My daughter worked full time at Next - starting at 4am during sale time and often finishing well in the wee small hours. She was made manager before she was 20.

Thanks I can see you took time to help there i really am trying
My area is very poor ,People spend there life on benefits and are happy about it. I am not one of them.

I would LOVE to have a full time job so I can have cash to do fun things and not just live , This is all I could get And they wont give more hours unless you have been working there six months, It's very hard to find a job atm ask people who are looking there tell you.

Can't help my bad luck and I can't help how !!!!ed the world is I just wanted help lol

Going to try and delete this all now , gone way out of hand.

Look I'm not trying to come across as some Mother Theresa chick, just trying to let you see that there are other options.

I know work is hard to find especially now but I have done some crappy jobs in my time and I just keep my eye on the prize i.e the wage cheque;) Even now, I'm a lone parent (back to the wild times of my youth!!!:rotfl:) but I always have at least 2 jobs on the go..think out the box...maybe working from home? There's a section on here called 'Up Your Income' which may give you inspiration and don't take it the wrong way but you do need to improve your Plain English style of writing and grammar (or at the very least promise you will spell check before you send applications out!!!;))

I know jobs are hard to come by but when the chips are down - which lets face it they are with you - then you will find a way.

I don't know if you are a troll - I hope not - and I don't actually think so but my troll-o-meter is low just now so if you are genuine thenI wish you lots of luck.

Also, keep an eye on your mental health. Whatever your feelings towards your Mum, she was still your Mum and passed away in awful circumstances

    Lots of luck SWEETIE:rotfl::A

    .

Having spent a large amount of my life teaching your age group, I can safely say that the ones working as few hours as you do have all been on full time courses.

with none of the 'perks of being on benefits' (ie free prescriptions, cheaper gas/elec/bt line rental/crisis loans etc)
clb776 Can you give us all some more info regarding cheaper gas/elec and bt line? I am sure there must be thousands of benefit claimants who are missing out on this little gem...oh that's right it's a crock of shoite

I agree, cheap electric and BT, wishful thinking.

Crisis loan? How is that a positive? It's about £30 or something and then you have to pay it back..

How unhappy and bitter do you have to be to post such unpleasant replies to a young guy who just lost his mother, and who seems to be struggling with his life? Does it really make you feel better about yourselves?

    You people disgust me. :(

I wish Martin Lewis would make a comment about the negativity and spitefulness of certain people on these forums. (You know who you are).

I am going to reply to you as if you are genuine, although I do not believe you are.
    ...

Please don't keep embellishing your story, you make it less credible rather than more so.

Yes, there's a bit of a touch of 'Angel89' about this post, the way it swings between boasting and self-pity.

It would be a shame if it's a troll that's exploiting the good will of all the people who think they are providing advice to a bereaved teenager on a low income.

My interest waned after the post where the OP heroically drags pallets with their bleeding hands to the property to form a bed - the violins just didn't kick in for me then.
