  • My daughter has just got a letter from them about DVLA car tax which she stupidly forgot to do in December, she is all worried now but the random this is that she is registered at still living at her old address which she moved out of about 3 months ag (yes I know she should have told the DVLA) so how can she get a letter from them at our address chasing her car tax as the V5 etc is still in her old address

I personally think that it is a scam, but do I ignore them?

It is not a scam. The tax is due and needs to be paid. Maybe they got her address by checking her credit files...if she doubts the legitimacy of the account, then it can be confirmed with a phone call to DVLA...

    Good evening

    Thank you for this response.

Do you know where I can find a prove it template letter from? I have received a letter from Pastdue Credit Solution, however I never received a bill from the Company they are claiming I owe money to, neither am I aware of any contract with this Company. I have spoken to Pastdue Credit Solutions who are refusing to provide me a copy of the bill for the amount they are asking for or a contract as it will breach their GDPR,

    Thank you in advance
