I've been quietly following your thread MOCAF and a big cheer for payday.

I know how you feel, my payday's on Friday this month and I'm down to pennies.

Hope you have a good time with your male friend, ask for loads of food and keep some for supper :D

I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared

Wedding gift - not got much, my mum has made me promise not to spend much, me and boyfriend went shopping and got a massive box of Thorntons chocs, with an extra slab on top with icing that says Congratulations - £20 (£10 each). Then I got a Mr & Mrs keyring set for £6.99, wedding wrapping paper, bows, gift bag, funny card (couldn't resist! It ones of those vegetable ones, got a bride and groom pear (fruit) and says, you make a great pear.. lol).. So it's turning into an expensive gift thing as she asked for a rose bush for the garden, so I might get ones of those too.. lol.

How did the shower pole guy get on?

Hannah - I don't even like wine, what's wrong with me! lol. Although, if it had been WKD Blue I would have downed the lot :D

  • hahaha thannks Hannah - I got 12 bog rolls from the pound shop!:j

Well after the fiasco with the £312 the DCA have taken, it should be back in tomorrow so I can get everything paid. Think I have £15 more to pay out the other creditors, then council tax and water, rent, car tax and car insurance if I can find it cheaper.

I should have around £150 to last me the month. I'll keep £80 for food and petrol and put the rest in for my holiday spends. 4 weeks to go! :money:
  • hey all just an update. All bills paid and car tax bought and I have £252 left over, cant believe it! Putting £150 in my holiday fund, then using the rest to live on till I get paid next

I've also started doing over time at work (around £11ph!), I should be able to do around 20hrs before cut off at work and thats an extra £220 in my August paypacket

WOOO! x I love MSE, thanks for the continued support x
