The freebies board, the competitions board, the up your income board and the old style money saving board are all darned useful. I never did any comps or sent for any freebies or joined any cashback sites or survey panels before I joined MSE.

I am owed about £75 from cashback sites so far and I've either had free or won... A box of wine, body lotion, shiny hair stuff, Glucosamine tablets (a nutritional suppliment) a toy polar bear, nappies, a bracelet.... er and stuff I forgot.

I've also saved a mint on stuff I would have bought anyhow and claimed about £80 back in refunds where I mightn't have otherwise bothered.

So yeah- make use of the other boards!

EDIT: Oh yeah that stuff I forgot included free food (can give ya a code for it too if you want some).

I do look at the freebie boards now and then - send off for a free shopping bag the other day I might have to have another look and see what's out there.

Comps - I did a few and won tickets to London events, but I'm in Leeds so couldn't go and too short notice, not won anything worthwhile tho.. lol.

I love the oldstyle board and greenfingers, they are so friendly there too!

Should be able to verify it anyway as they're not making a debit at that point... Oh God... Your bank haven't cancelled it have they?

going to speak to my friends at the weekend. They have booked, and paid, for me to go on holiday with them in August but I just cannot afford to go. Gutted as I've been looking forward to it since December, but I need to be practical.
Being a grown up sucks some times
