My ex has the dogs though as I left the house and started again and I didn't have anywhere for them and wouldn't have been able to have them at the time. Not seen them since I left and not spoke to him either.
Aww GeeGee mate, you have my sympathies.
I met a bloke with a 2 year old dog, we were together 5-6 years, then we broke up. Well fair's fair, "the boyo" was his dog, so as heartbreaking as it was I waved the beloved dog off into the sunset (to a good life- ex was a nice person)...
Or so I thought...
A month later the ex called me in tears (gotta still love him just for being man enough to do this)... He said did I want the dog? I was shocked, I said well of course I do but what the bl**dy hell had happened? I was evisioning ex's house having burned down or something equally spectacular? Turns out my boyo wouldn't eat, sleep or even settle. When he wasn't crying and pacing by the door he was running wild outside in a right panic searching for me. He was thin as a rake because food wasn't interesting to him anymore (not even bacon- that's baaaad). He'd go crazy for hours if he heard my voice on the phone. My ex was forced to conceed that whatever we both thought, the dog thought he belonged to me. Within an hour of being home he was asleep in his old basket and out like a light. It was weeks before he volontarily let me out of his sight again.
Three years on the boy is a ten year old and really likes everyone he meets but still only loves me. I really don't deserve this sort of loyalty, but hey I'm not knocking it! I couldn't ask for a better right-hand-man.
Anyway that story had nothing to do with anything, it was just when you said about your ex taking the dog it reminded me of the tale of how I lost the boyo then got him back.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

I would have skinned my ex alive if he had tried to take my dogs. When he ended it last year all I took was a suitcase full of clothes and the dogs:D
Well my £167 BCW debt has gone :Twell, I have to pay mum back....I currently slip her a £20 as and when I can afford it
She bought me a shower pole today as I couldnt afford it but I can't get the bloody thing up. I've been trying for two hours and have given up.
Hope everyone is having a good night x0 -
Nice to hear payday has been and gone Love, did you remember to bung a roll back in the office lavvy? If it's one of those extending shower poles they are a two person job for a dead cert!
Now the crisis is over, do you feel brave enough to show us a SOA? Cos we might be able to help you with the whole-lifestyle bit of makig a recovery from debt if you wanted us to have a go?I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.

Hey guys! Oh, doggies, I do miss them so much.. especially my boy Max who I'd had since a pup from RSPCA.. He loved me to bits and I had to leave him as I was staying with a friend for a week before my flat came through.. and I couldn't find anywhere that would allow pets.. oh well, I have fond memories.. and the other day I googles my ex's house out of morbid curiosity and the dogs were in the window where I used to put their beds.. the ex still puts them there it seems.. I could have cried..
(bit teary now) bloody dogs!
Had a nigthmare weekend with current boyfriend - as per my other thread.
It seems to be mostly sorted (for now) and once I explained how I felt he hasn't stopped apologising all weekend and saying he understands now why there has been issues. He explained a few things and I am more comfortable with a few things, I'll wait and see if things change though. Feel a little smothered at the moment, he's just gone home, so a few days for me to think and get my head sorted.
What's up with the shower curtain pole? Don't tell me you need a man? lol

I read your other post - !!!!!!! men!!
Speaking of men, I am kinda seeing someone who is coming round tomorrow to put the pole up for me haha (and he is buying me tea:p). He's a cutie but I dont want anything serious x
Roll on payday!! x0 -
Oooooooooh, get you..
hope he sorts it out for ya! lol.
Me and my boyfriend sorted out our differences over the weekend, he's very sorry for how he has been, but I'm just worried that it'll all crop up again eventually. Although, to his credit, he actually does learn and change for the better so fingers crossed.
Payday tomorrow! You get paid early? We used to get paid at bang on 3pm, how odd..
You off to the supermarket after work then?9/70lbs to lose

We get paid first thing, so I'll be up about 5:00 with the dogs, so will nip the 24hour asda after I;ve been out with them and get some food. My belly is rumbling so bad at the moment, its a joke! xx
then going to phone the debt collectors and make some payments....0 -
