I've been doing the Idiot Proof Diet since March and have lost 40lbs!:j

It's basically just a more relaxed version of Atkins. I found the book in a charity shop and started the next day! It just made so much sense to me. There's also a forum that has loads and loads of recipes (not sure if I can post links, but google Pig 2 Twig!) Honestly, I've never felt better and haven't even felt like cheating since I started, the food is so good and there's so much variety. I exercised for the first month or so, but have fallen by the wayside a bit since.:o I still have 38lbs to go, but don't feel daunted at all, as I'm eating food I love and feeling fantastic! I'm mega amazed by this as I'm a terrible binger, especially with carbs, and I work in a hotel and have unlimited access to free croissants, pastries, muffins etc and I haven't been tempted once! It really has changed my whole mindset.

Also, I'm at uni at the moment too and have access to an amazing gym, including all classes and swimming pool for £40 a year!

Good luck with whatever you do!:money:

GEEGEE, can you see if they do fitness clases through uni? I'm at uni, and I'm going to join the taekwando class at my uni. It's cheaper and it looks to be better than the gym

I am planning on joining once I start, in 10 weeks.. I wanna spend the next 10 weeks building up my fitness and confidence and also losing some weight :D

I want to join the badmintion, scuba diving (already qualified), and I'd love to do womens football, but not at my weight now. :o

hey, Ive actually got a RC class relatively close by so I have done as you have suggested and printed the voucher. I hope to go on Wednesday night to the Slim and Salasize class, its till 9pm but I havent been out of this house in months in an evening properly and it is wearing me down .... Its like a fear/avoidance of anything in the evening has gripped me, either way I will give it a go and see how we go. Their setup sounds perfect. I found it hard to maintain attending the gym in the past as it was so souless and even though I went regularly I never go to know anyone. I used to go to the circuit training class but the guy became more and more bullying and it reminded me so much of PE classes so I stopped going.

Re the diet pills, thats one of the things I read about them too. I already have enough problems with anxiety and depression for apparent specific reason, I dont need something supplementing it.

    Did you get 48% too?

I'm not sure how I can screen shot it, otherwise I would.

Yeah, I def don't recommend the pills, in fact, I'm too scared to even try them ever again. I really was upset and paranoid about my boyfriend fancying other people, even though that's a million miles from the truth. Luckily I didn't voice my opinions and a week later it had passed and I felt a lot happier.

Well done on the class :) It should be fun! I also have a reluctance to go out in the evening, not sure why..

I struggle with the gym, but if I get into a routine I'll be okay, I did go recently for 2 weeks (3 times a week) and I started to really enjoy it, then I got made redundant and everything was up in the air.

What did you do at uni top_drawer?
